Gnats. Flying from our plate. When brought to the attention of management, he claims it’s “from the front door being opened and closed.”
No apology.
The waitress did replace the coleslaw after she saw the bug crawling on it.
How this restaurant gets any reviews that are less than 5 stars is beyond me. Dan and his family do an amazing job with some of the most delicious food. Won’t find better rotisserie ribs or chicken anywhere. Lots of other great foods too. Not BBQ in the sense of southern, smoked food but way better.

Locals flock to this comfortable place for the rib dinners, sauteed perch, and Sunday's special turkey dinner. Champs is the best spot for ribs & garlic bread in the neighborhood. The service is top-notch, with super pleasant and attentive staff, and the atmosphere is pleasant.
