Won’t find better rotisserie ribs or chicken anywhere. Lots of other great foods too. Not BBQ in the sense of southern, smoked food but way better.“

“Zeff’s is a respectable Coney Island. Most of our meals on a Sunday Brunch on Lions game day were on point. Coneys always good. Bacon pitas were fair. Chicken Swarma was not as tasty as preferred. Stick with the classics is our opinion. Will likely go again as it is near Sunday Church.

Vegetarian options: They’ve got few vegetarian items. Greek Salad is good. Remember, it’s a Coney Island.“

It feels homey eating in and carry outs are always spot on, nothing ever forgotten. And to Bozzy, thank you for your kindness this past Sunday! If I could critique anything it would just be that the soup is usually but not always a bit salty. To be fair, most every restaurant does that. I guess most people really like salt.“

“We've been going to Travis for decades. It's been a local known favorite for a lot of us who grew up in this area and remember many days gone by enjoying Travis Originals with good friends and family. Their food is great and reasonable, and their servers are friendly, courteous, and attentive, and make every visit a pleasurable experience.
I have to recommend their great specials. On Thursday any of their Mexican entrees are exceptional, my favorite is the Wet Burrito, my husband's is the Quesadilla, also the Nachos Supreme. Tuesday they have really good Sloppy Joes, and their Beef Barley soup is a favorite also. Their breakfasts are consistently good, and although they don't have them on the menu and occasionally on holidays they've had crepes which were outstanding. My point is Travis has always been a local favorite for a reason and that is consistent good food, prices and service. When you do it right generations return, and every time we travel we say " You know what they need around here, a Travis ! "“

It was super super tasty.I will definitely be back i wanna try alot more of the menu . I spent about 35 for 2 people here but we got alot of food and I let them up sale me on some stuff .

“Very solid and tasty vegan options, I like having breakfast/brunch here with friends. Seating could be more comfortable (metal chairs with a smaller bucket seat) but the environment is still cute, a charming downtown cafe spot. Servers are sweet, and I have never waited long dor food even with a fuller house. I recommend the vegan bowls and breakfast wraps, vibrant and tasty food. Prices feel reasonable for the freshness and goodness of the food, I spend 16-18 on vegan breakfast options but there are cheaper options, and then coffee and tip, it's pretty good. Very solid I have been back 4 5 times now.

“I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything. “Tuesdays are $1.50 coney island hotdogs. I ordered but the toppings of chilli mustard diced onion was REALLY what I paid for. Today I spoke to one of the delightful (and Gorgeous!) waitresses and told her I hoped to have EXTRA not OVER the top onions and mustard and what I got were THE BEST CONEYS!!! After I gathered the family up we made our adventure to Wide Tom’s and was not disappointed.
They have everything bean you can think of. From simple bean dip to Sweet California Aphrodisiac Mong Beans.

Tom was so friendly unlike my wife’s friend Anita Hanjaab. He gave us alll bean shots and really showed us the art of relaxing pharyngeal muscles. My wife was able to do a triple shot second time.

The kids raved about the bean slide back downstairs and after 30min of them making laps I made them leave.

What a great find and hidden gem that is a definite return

Vegetarian options: Beans are a vegetable…. Just eat them as Tom would say

I ordered an omelette and the cheese and moisture from the food made a hole in my paper container if I didn’t notice my food could’ve fell out but other then that the food is always a thumbs up.“
