“This place is wonderful. When homophobic and racist protesters came in demanding that "we make America great again", this cafe said "well, actually, no... we prefer living in a time where queer people have basic rights and where black people aren't subject to the institutionalized violence of Jim Crow laws." Plus, their biscuits and gravy is the best snack of all time. Also, people calling Hard Times racist make no sense to me... this was white employees removing other white people who were waving a banner in support of the man who tried to get the Central Park 5 lynched or sentenced to death.“

Parking: Decent sized parking lot but it's not a big place and wasn't packed when we got there so there weren't any issues with parking.“

“😋This was the first time that I have eaten at River Rat. The food was sooo delicious!! My husband Larry and I had the Chicken Breast Montreal, I had coleslaw, and Chicken Noodle soup, and he had mashed potatoes, and green beans with his. His brother Mike, had the baked Walleye. The rolls were sooo yummy!! Many thanks to our waitress Tayler! She was so nice, and kind, and onpoint!! I give this rating a 5 Star!! We shall be back!“

“Went for an early dinner corn chowder was PUKE IN A BOWL ordered fish and chips to my surprise Chef is using low quality Pollock for high quality Cod talked to mgr and she had few profanities and hung up phone I have been a Chef for many years and detected this right off the bat don’t let them steal your money on low quality products 2pc $1799 and 3 pcs $20.99 they were 2oz pcs of fish!!? I had bad experience a few years ago at Terry’s thought we would give it a try even after my wife strongly objected have to bow down to her SHE WAS RIGHT AGAIN???“

“We stopped in for the Sunday brunch , it's a fairly small space ( but its not their regular thing ) all the food options were decent to really good , especially the waffles and pancakes. The Cajun wings were really flavorful but not too spicy and the 1 I had was very meaty !! Their coffee was good also . I'd give them an 8 - 8.5 for their effort.“
