“😋This was the first time that I have eaten at River Rat. The food was sooo delicious!! My husband Larry and I had the Chicken Breast Montreal, I had coleslaw, and Chicken Noodle soup, and he had mashed potatoes, and green beans with his. His brother Mike, had the baked Walleye. The rolls were sooo yummy!! Many thanks to our waitress Tayler! She was so nice, and kind, and onpoint!! I give this rating a 5 Star!! We shall be back!“

“Great place!!! Very nice waitress and CLEAN!!! The only negative thing I’d say is, I had a weird staring match with with the guy at the door while trying to watch 🏈 football. . Beyond that it’s always great food and a family atmosphere. I admit it was hilarious when he stood behind the red flowers like I couldn’t see him. Beside that one time..I religiously order carry out from them and go in every so often with my wife and kids. I buy every weekend as a local in the Southport/Greenwood area.“

“Great service, very comfortable atmosphere and delicious food. Have ordered breakfast and dinner multiple times and have always been happy with the quality of the dishes. Reminds me of the many homecooked meals as kid my mom would make. Highly recommend this dinner. Plus they always have a great selection of specials and home made soups.“

“We stopped in for the Sunday brunch , it's a fairly small space ( but its not their regular thing ) all the food options were decent to really good , especially the waffles and pancakes. The Cajun wings were really flavorful but not too spicy and the 1 I had was very meaty !! Their coffee was good also . I'd give them an 8 - 8.5 for their effort.“

“For my 65th birthday and my soon to be dauhter-in, laws 25 birthday we celebrated at J. Baldwins! The food was excellent. Soooo good, I've never had better food. I even ordered 2 other meals and dessert to take home! I recommend this restaurant as a 20 on a 1 - 10 scale it was that yummy! 5 stars!“

“Oh My Gosh. went today and ordered a Meatball Sub and the Paremesan Chicken Cutlet Sub. Bought some of their lasagna and tomato basil soup. Took a bite of the Lasagna. Yummy. I was a big Ventimiglia fan, but this will be now my go to place. Wanted to get more from their prepared foods but fridge was down. Will be back again tomorrow. Definitely over 5 stars .“

“Got the Chicken Pad Thai..With extra chicken and egg along with 3 spring rolls. Was a little pricey, probably because I had them add extra but I like it that way. Nice spice level, medium + is where I tend to like it. Food was ready as soon as I go there. Was hot and delicious.“

“It was very busy when we went, wait was long. Got our appetizer quickly, and sushi came out later. The sushi was delicious but mine had additional ingredients than what was listed on the menu, and one roll was missing ingredients--still delicious though. I'll try it again, they have unique sushi rolls! I'm assuming it was just a hectic weekend night.“
