“Chung Ki Wa might just be one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in the state of Michigan. From the moment you walk in, you get an authentic Korean atmosphere that immediately sets this place apart. The restaurant is well kept, organized, and has a genuine feel that makes the entire dining experience feel special.

The star of the show is, of course, the Korean BBQ. The meats were incredibly fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and cooking the meats right at the table makes the experience even better. The marinades and seasonings complement the meats without overpowering their natural flavors, creating that perfect balance of savory, smoky, and slightly sweet notes that makes Korean BBQ so addictive.

The side dishes, or banchan, were another highlight. There was a great variety, and each one brought something different to the meal. The combination of the flavorful meats and refreshing, spicy, savory, and tangy side dishes kept every bite interesting. These aren't just simple sides—they are an important part of what makes the Korean BBQ experience so enjoyable.

The restaurant itself has a wonderful authentic atmosphere. It feels traditional without feeling outdated, and everything was clean, organized, and well maintained. You can tell there is a lot of pride put into both the food and the restaurant.

The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and pleasant throughout the experience. Good service can make a great meal even better, and the staff at Chung Ki Wa helped create a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.

Chung Ki Wa is definitely on the pricier side, but in my opinion, the quality makes it well worth the price. You're not just paying for a meal—you’re paying for fresh ingredients, quality meats, authentic flavors, great side dishes, and the overall Korean BBQ experience.

There are plenty of places that serve Korean BBQ, but Chung Ki Wa feels like a place that genuinely respects the cuisine and the traditions behind it. The combination of authentic atmosphere, fresh and flavorful meats, excellent side dishes, friendly service, and a well-maintained restaurant makes this place stand out.

If you're a fan of Korean food or Korean BBQ, Chung Ki Wa is absolutely worth checking out. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots in Michigan. Highly recommended and definitely a place I would return to.“

“This place is amazing! I’m usually not a big Chinese food person but this place has so much variety in their food you can definitely find something to eat/try. The food is really good and very big proportions too. Came here for a birthday dinner and we were all able to eat family style with no problems of anyone feeling left out or not being able to try the food. Every single time I have been to Zarzoor it has been an absolute amazing experience. 10/10 every time with the absolute best service! Next time you’re in town, do yourself a favor and give it a try. Make sure to also ask for Rima as your server - she’s spectacular and made the experience even better AND Make sure to ask for the Lentil Soup!

“What a great experience! Will definitely be back! Had a taste for Indian tonight and decided to try Red Chillies on a whim. We called in for two orders of butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone, he excitedly assured me that this would be a much different experience than the surrounding Indian restaurants in the area. When we arrived at the restaurant we noticed the accolades on the wall, showing best Indian cuisine in Macomb County for the last 5 years. The host was so polite and friendly, and was eager to know what we thought of the food! We took it home, and the food stayed nice and hot. The butter chicken was full of spice and flavor, with delicious, tender chunks of chicken. The garlic naan was incredible -- super fresh, crispy on the bottom, and not soggy like other restaurants we've tried. All of this at an affordable price too! We're excited to branch out and try something new next time we come, which will hopefully be very soon! 😋🤤“

The spice level is accurate. I love hot food. But I ordered the Extra Hot - based on other restaurants levels - and wished I'd stuck with simply hot. For those who really want to push the 🔥, I was informed they had ghost peppers available for your dining pleasure. You're an adult, make good decisions.
My only complaint: one of the veggies, eggplant, I believe, was overcooked and quite soft, almost mushy. Flavor was delicious, spice level as expected. The quantity was very good and the price terrific.
I'll definitely return, there are too many offerings that I need to check out. I'll likely return to the review & tweak it as necessary.“
