I had the steak and eggs, both cooked to my rare/over medium delight and my rye toast actually came with my meal. So important. Loved our waitress Becky. I'm from Sfld and my sisters are in Mt. Clemens. We will make this our meeting spot from now on.“

“Blown away by how good this was. Was craving Mexican food for a good while and never really noticed Taqueria Alma was in my city. Ordered a Wet Burrito Dinner which came out to be $12.71. Fantastic service and food.

The whole meal was fresh and piping hot, the chicken was delicious, and it was an extremely affordable meal. Before I received my order, a customer inside let the cashier know that it was the best tacos he'd eaten and I'm glad I took his word for it- it seriously was that good. This meal came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, beans and rice on the sides.

We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. “Our family of five just wrapped up dinner and everything was phenomenal. We tried a couple of the appetizers, vegan pho, the wonton pho and stir fry with all the meat options in one. “Fantastic beer coming out of the east side of the state! Watch out west side breweries. Great beer selection wirh brews that a consistent and varied. The IPAs are tasty and hoppy while the porters are robust and warming in the cooler months. Big, big fan of Elephant Juice and Sweater Weather - this combination covers my whole year. The brewery is a nice space, funky and welcoming. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, can't go wrong here.“

I’ve been coming here for close to 20 years, and somehow they just keep hitting the mark. From the homemade jam to the perfect muffins, the food is consistently excellent.

The service may not always be perfectly polished, but honestly, that’s part of what I love about this place. It feels personal. They care about you, they remember people, and there’s something genuinely warm about being there.

Twenty years later, I’m still coming back. That probably says more than anything else could.
