Went to celebrate my aunts. 91st Birthday. We had a party of 8, and the service was efficient except we had 2 members who wanted separate bills and even reconfirmed, and the waiter agreed but did not accommodate them. Everybody's dinner was great. I call this place an upscale family diner be cause it has a nice bar area, but then the family diner feels in the restaurant area. The portions are always great, and the meals are like comfort food.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in quite a while. It has a very nice presentation outside and in. All the wait staff were very polite and accommodating. The restaurant was very busy, the food was very good. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The portion was very generous, I took half of my plate home! ??

I just have to say that River Rat is one of our favorite go to restaurants. Always a good meal but when you boast of your fish being boneless, and believe me I do expect a couple bones regardless, but to take 5 bites and there to be a bone in every bite is just terrible. When asked how it was and I replied as to all the bones…they acted like I’ve never eaten fish before and proceeded to explain that you have to expect a couple bones…well duh!!
