“What a great place. I went here as a kid, and was able to have my daughter's graduation party here. It still has the same feel, amazingly helpful staff, and extremely fair on pricing. This place makes family memories happen. I can't praise them enough.“

“We stopped in for the Sunday brunch , it's a fairly small space ( but its not their regular thing ) all the food options were decent to really good , especially the waffles and pancakes. The Cajun wings were really flavorful but not too spicy and the 1 I had was very meaty !! Their coffee was good also . I'd give them an 8 - 8.5 for their effort.“

“Food is excellent. Cooked to perfection. Vegetables are fresh and served Al Dente. Soups and chili always made in house. Great staff. Servers are on top of it. Polite, friendly, and efficient. Bar staff, well, youl have to stop in for a drink. They are excellent. A++++“

Could certainly use some updating but the one very large update needs to be serving draft beer in an actual GLASS… Ive never been served a beer in a hard plastic cup (?)much less 32oz.. I ended up ordering bottles after that… Also, the menu was paired way down cause it was a band night.. “I moved to SCS 5 months ago and have never been here before. My family and I have tried carryout from several restaurants and we always end up with Gilbert’s. Great food, service & prices. I had my daughters 1st birthday in their banquet room yesterday and I’m over the moon happy with how it turned out! The staff was super helpful and always around when I needed anything. The food was great, my guests raved about the pizza and spinach dip. I would book events here in the future without a doubt. Look no further for a great American cuisine menu and staff that makes you feel like family!“

“This place is surprisingly good! I was impressed with my server Alicia, she did an outstanding service for me and my family. I was spectical at first ( being our first time). When my 5 year old spilled his water she was so fast to clean it up. i apologize so many times and she was just so sweet the whole time. ( tip her extra). The food came out hot, and my husband really loved his tacos. This is definitely a Family friendly restaurant. Definitely coming back for my Daughter’s birthday. Outstanding restaurant overall.“

“Very juicy burger. Had Iriish Boxer burger with sweet tator tots! Also had Cheesy Pesto Spinach flat bread. Just as good. UPDATE...7/24/26 We had another delicious meal! Both burgers were soo good and juicy! Very generous portions of house chips & onion rings! Best onion rings because of the crispy batter and not greasy. Thank you to our waitress Shelby! She was very kind, helpful and attentive. Not waiting another 7 years before returning!“

“We rolled up to a full house with guests waiting on their take out food. Somehow you knew it was food worthy waiting for. There was community amongst strangers in anticipation of being fed. The car ride home was plagued with the aroma of delicious food, making a 15 minute drive feel like an eternity. Once home, we grabbed forks and dug in like starved hostages. I briefly reminded myself to chew and savory the flavors and not just inhale the plate like a wild animal. Starving or not, the food was perfect! Broccoli to perfection, rice that soaked up the sauce, chicken juicy, salmon flaky and moist. Would order again!“

Warm comfortable interior to play a game or bet on the lotto.
Don't be fooled by the plain appearance of the outside stop in for great food. Fish and Chips is the best and they have been know for it for decades. Also burgers are top notch. Prices are still reasonable.

I do wish they had a few regular table options, I have a damaged knee and I was extremely uncomfortable in the hi-tops. Kinda messed up my vibe to enjoy my food.

Love being able to seat yourself, excited about shooting pool with some adults at another time.

Good music too! Wonder if they ever have bands perfrom...that would be dope!!

“It was like graduation season and the place was packed long wait for a table but recommend since only 2 we eat at the bar so me and my god daughter went to the bar it was Tuesday so her food was 1.99 so I only spent 25 dollars for both of us. The service was nice the food was good.“
