“We held a small bridal shower today at the Troy location. We, as organizers live several hours from Troy so had to make arrangements over the phone and sigh unseen. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and welcoming appearance. Rick was wonderful in assisting in every way possible, table set up, reducing the music in the back room, refreshing beverages and more. The food was excellent. And the prices very reasonable. We will definitely hold future events here as they occur.“

“Food was good and service was acceptable (nothing special) but you had a group of 5 guys leave your restaurant last night somewhat bewildered after your waitress Katarina made it quite clear she was not happy with the 20% tip we gave her. Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.“

“Was my first time in Churchill’s yesterday, 03/28. Had no idea what to expect, never understood the purpose of the cigar. With that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Our waiter was great, the old fashioned was amazing and that cigar…now I get it!! So relaxing, great atmosphere and with a great tour guide who was also celebrating his birthday. That’s where he wanted to go, I’m sure glad he did!!! Highly recommend!“

“I went to Jimmy's during on March 20th to watch NCAA games. Lisa was my bartender. She was great. She put on the games for me. I asked her to make me a Spanish coffee and looked it up so she can make it for me. She did a good job with that. I had soup and a tuna melt both were very good and satisfying. “Ive lived in the area for many years yet only been hear a few times, summer of 2009 and 2020. We were coming back from an errand and deceided to stop here for food and to see if Tiffany was here too! She was, happy dance!!!
Had a sample of the Pumpkin Jack Cider omg soooo good. She suggested a shot of vanilla vodka and it was fall heaven in a glass. Food was so yummy, one of those moments why did we wait so long to stop here! Thanks for both of us having a great first time here together!!!!!“

“This place is a bit of an enigma because I don't understand how some of the best food is coming out of the kitchen of a quintessential dive bar. I usually get the burger (Mighty Gibson) and it's the burger I crave when I need one. Everything else I've ever had was great too. However, I had the seafood chowder tonight and it rivals anything you will find in the finest seafood restaurants on any coast you pick. In fact, the soup is what prompted this review after numerous visits. Sarah makes a great drink too but who goes to a dive bar for the culinary experience- guess I do?!?!“

“The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“

“Randomly stopped in on a Saturday while on town. Food was delicious. The chicken dip was different but good. Service was slow but the waitress did receive a huge party about 30 minutes after we arrived. I enjoyed the sliders. It was only loud inside because of the party but other than that it was enjoyable. My husband enjoyed the French onion soup.“

I've been to other places where we have been served by the bartender that only cared about the regulars. She was awesome and very attentive. My dirty martini was on point! “Last night my family and myself went to Grand Tavern for supper after a long day. Our waiter Xhorxh was absolutely amazing! Personally, I have dietary restrictions and explained to him that I am unable to have gluten, dairy, or egg. I had already pre-creeped the menu before arriving so I could find a meal that would be easy to hopefully adapt to my dietary restrictions. After explaining my restrictions Xhorxh was ON IT! He immediately spoke to the chef and the chef adapted my meal to my restrictions. Xhorxh did tell me that there could be a possible cross contamination with gluten on one of my sides and explained that they couldn’t guarantee that that one thing would be gluten free. Listen, not very often in the service industry do you come across a wait staff member or chef that made sure to cross all of the boxes. I ordered brussel sprouts as the appetizer without the cheese (I could have had three plates of that it was so good) and the cedar plank salmon and ordered two veggies as my side. IT was DELISH!!!!! Xhorxh also made sure that our drinks were constantly filled and took amazing care of our family. My MIL even made a comment after we received our meals how she really liked him as a waiter. I wished we had a Grand Tavern where we lived but unfortunately we are 8 hours away but we will absolutely be back when visiting family! ❤️“

“Big portions and tasted really good. Had fish and chips amd others had the zip burger. Service good, busy and a little understaffed but not like you waiting a long time.

“Typical sports bar with a typical sports bar menu. Food well prepare. I have tried a number of dishes and was satisfied with all. Lots of tv's with your own tv complete with remote in the booths. Can get busy on game days when local sports teams are playing.“

“Took our first trip to this place just last night. Has a little bit of everything for those not looking to stay seated during dinner. Food took forever though and was decent. Waitress was a little lost with constantly asking our table of 6 what they ordered and whose drink went with whose order. Other than that the atmosphere was pretty cool. We played some cornhole, which was decently priced by the hour ($10). Plus they had classic arcade games, free to play like Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Frogger, and Donkey Kong along with 90’s classics like Mortal Kombat, NFL Blitz and House of the Dead. Plus over a dozen pinballs. Arcade area was a sight to see since most places now use carnival or ticket games. They also had a poker room which was full. Did not see any pool tables, darts or disc golf so not sure if those get removed during poker night. I’d consider coming back but not during their busier times. It was more than half capacity but id imagine an even further delay on food or your wait staff being really lost handling more than 20 orders at multiple tables. Either way I’d recommend it as long as you aren’t really hungry going in or don’t like huge crowds.“

“CK’s has been our favorite neighborhood place since they opened in 1998. Always good food and service in a fun atmosphere. Enjoying the patio is extra nice as is meeting friends for a game. They have a great tap list and happy hour and daily specials. The recent remodel looks great!“

“This place is surprisingly good! I was impressed with my server Alicia, she did an outstanding service for me and my family. I was spectical at first ( being our first time). When my 5 year old spilled his water she was so fast to clean it up. i apologize so many times and she was just so sweet the whole time. ( tip her extra). The food came out hot, and my husband really loved his tacos. This is definitely a Family friendly restaurant. Definitely coming back for my Daughter’s birthday. Outstanding restaurant overall.“

“Wandered in here on a random Friday night. Tapped beer was crisp, fresh and cold. Managed to get a really great burger with fries before the grill closed, and had more fries and cheese sticks before close. For bar food it was really good. 4 stars

The bartender Lex was funny and attentive to her customers without being obnoxious - her service and timing were fantastic. Seemed to have a good rapport with other patrons/regulars. 5 stars

The bar itself is a good size and there's a few tables but there isn't much room otherwise. They did have karaoke after 9 which was fun, but there's not really room to dance to music. The parking lot itself is small and the area is dark but there seemed to be parking out front in the street that was well lit. 3 stars.

If you're looking to talk to people, grab a seat, have some drinks and grab a bite this is good. If you're looking to dance or need a lot of space this might not be it. Recommended to be aware of your surroundings heading to the parking lot after dark.“
