This place is a bit of an enigma because I don't understand how some of the best food is coming out of the kitchen of a quintessential dive bar. I usually get the burger (Mighty Gibson) and it's the burger I crave when I need one. Everything else I've ever had was great too. However, I had the seafood chowder tonight and it rivals anything you will find in the finest seafood restaurants on any coast you pick. I was amazed how good the food was. Servers were amazing and friendly highly recommend
The best nachos, the most amazing steak bites, the juiciest burgers from the best quality meat, and the classic Reuben sandwich - I’ve never had a bad meal here. Even my kids ask to get the sliders and hand battered tenders all the time. And some of the nicest staff in the industry. So glad I found this little gem!

House of Shamrocks offers great food and strong drinks, with one of the best corned beef sandwiches in the Motor City. The atmosphere may not be the best, but it has a cool, laid-back vibe that makes it a friendly neighborhood meeting place. The owner is very accommodating and ready to help with events or meetings. The staff, including sweet and helpful waitresses, contribute to the enjoyable experience. There is a pool table and an outdoor patio for guests to enjoy. Parking can be challenging on busy days, and while the food is typically pretty good, there may be some upcharges that are not always clearly communicated. The food, entertainment nights, and special events continue to impress. The venue also offers a unique private space for gatherings like bachelor and bachelorette parties, making it a great place to meet friends for delicious food and drinks.
