“What a cool place. This is a historic pizzeria in Hazel Park that everyone should check out. Their pizza is legit Detroit style and it's very good. All around the dining area are hundreds of chianti bottles with baskets that patrons decorate before being put up. It's actually a fantastic DOCG Italian chianti well worth ordering!Pro tip: If you like a lot of pepperoni, ask for extra! They don't put a ton on by default.”
“I’ve visited a couple times & the staff is always so friendly! The smoothies are delicious. Made with fresh ingredients & I really like that they sweeten them using honey.”
“I just love this place. Their ingredients are always fresh and their pizza is unmatched! The service is quick and always friendly. I'd probably get carry out from here every night if my fiancé would allow it.”
“Overall was pretty good. The potatoes were meh . The Mac and cheese was decent. but where it counts, with the pulled pork, brisket, and pastrami, that stuff was bomb. Specifically the pastrami, the cook brought us out a sample and that was my favorite part. Would come back just for that. (Shoulda got a picture ”
“Nice little old world mom and pop coney place. Service is great. Menu has a good selection for an small place and next time, Ì'm not going to miss the cheesecake !”
“My boyfriend and I came here once to try it, and I love coming! Everyone is so friendly and amazing, and I love the food and place. I definitely want to return as often as I can!”
“Brayz does not change much from year to year. Still good but it seems they have changed some of the food. Burger &chili. I have been repeat customer since the 80'sParking: Parking lot has been in need of repair for decades”
“Terrific, friendly service. I ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich with the peppers and cheese. The lady at the window recommended getting it dipped. It made for a messy sandwich, but it was delicious. Definitely the way to order it if you eat it at one of their picnic tables. Get at least a few napkins. If I were to order it to go, however, I would probably ask for the au jus on the side. That said, it's one of the best sandwiches I've had in metro Detroit.”
“Used to go here all the time since b4 covid...then they brought back community seating for the big dinners and now won't go back. Don't need to spend all that money to sit and stare at people I don't know at my table. Food is always good. Quit trying to maximize profit and just use tables like u did b4. Thanx for your ”
“When I read “the grilled wrap” was coming to our sub, I figured it was just another wrap sandwich.I took one bite of the #4 chicken bacon club and my eyes rolled into the back of my head…Oooooooh, it was so GOOD!!!That bite melted into my mouth bursting with bold seasoning and strong flavor!!!The Crispy fresh lettuce, crunchy jalapeños and amazing lemon pepper, corn, mayo made this wrap more than a sandwich. This was an absolute treat.Don’t second guess!!! The grilled wrap will not disappoint. I’m sitting here right now. Trying to figure out how to score another 2 sandwich order from them quickly! The grilled wrapThe only wrapped sandwich giving comfort food vibes?♂️”
“I ate here on Wednesday night (Feb 7 2024) with a large group, 12 people for a friend's birthday, and it was fantastic! The food and drinks were incredible, but I was most impressed with our server, a guy with a black beanie and beard. Our group split our check into 6 different checks and I imagine it was such a pain to organize everything given we all had multiple plates and drinks. He was so friendly, helpful, and just a great server. Thanks for a great experience! I have also been once before and it was great then too. Love this place”
“Three bartender was on point... Very polite sweet, attentive and pays attention to your cup and what you ordered.. Atmosphere was great... Awesome music choices, a pool table, outdoor seating, covered smoking options... Great "Cheers" feelingParking: Fairly large parking area that's free”
“Was looking for good fish in our area, we have a place that we LOVE deep east but didn't feel like driving far. I had cajun catfish which was good but greasy, we had large shrimp that were good but greasy, my husband had orange roughy he said it was good but they didn't give him enough (LOL).The chicken wings were not good to us. I actually don't really care for wings from fresh fish type of restaurants. Example: neighborhood grocery stores have the chicken that they pack in the back and sell and they have chicken from other private companies that they sell like Tyson, etc. For me, the chicken packed in the back at the grocery stores have a funny smell and taste, this is how I felt about the chicken we ordered. Didn't like it at all. Some of the pieces had dark spots, smelled funny and just didn't look good. Overall if we're in the mood again and don't feel like taking the drive deep east we'll order from here again because of convenience, but definitely not the chicken.”
“I've always had a good time here the handful of times that I've been. Bartenders are always great and the vibe was chill with an array of different characters. Very easy to lay low and keep to yourself but also any time that I've mingled with other patrons they've always been pretty cool. Nice big parking lot right off the service drive, which comes in handy if you don't feel like doing downtown Ferndale. Perfect walkable neighborhood joint if you live near 75 and 9 mile. I've never experienced it being too crowded and there's a solid pool table in the back. Also did my first karoake there and had a blast.”
“Hands down one of the most satisfying food experiences I’ve ever had in my 40 years of life. Definitely will come back.Vegetarian options: There were definitely some vegetarian items.Dietary restrictions: They asked about restrictions and allergies. Very through.Kid-friendliness: Do not recommend for children.Wheelchair accessibility: Small dining areas but they should be able to accommodate.”
