“My boyfriend saw this place on Instagram and we immediately had to try and OMG. He’s lived in Scottsdale the past ~7 years of his life where they have fantastic Mexican food and he thought this was right on par. I have been dying for good tacos in the area and this is itttttt. The quesa birria was fantastic and the consommé was drinkable, the shrimp was juicy and flavorful, and the carne asada was tender juicy flavorful ugh I’m so happy! Chips were crispy and hot, pico and queso were delicious. I also had the rice and beans which I really enjoyed! This is definitely our new spot and I have a feeling they’re going to blow up here soon!“

“First time trying this place. Got the Alfredo with chicken and shrimp 10 out of 10. Jalapeño burger cooked to perfection 10 out of 10. Tried the Nashville hot chicken wings also 10 out if 10 but if you don't like heat these might not be for you. They were amazing. Also the parmesan fries were excellent. “Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. Waitress of course didn’t mention the added cost and I didn’t notice until after the fact. Seemed odd for such a small party, but feel they should warn us while paying“

We tried the Jerk chicken and wing meals, festivals, beef patty, pineapple passion punch and the star of the show, oxtail gravy. The rice and peas and cabbage in the meals was so well flavored as well. I didn’t want to the meal to end! The food is absolutely delicious. We usually do the birria tacos and birria pizza but we have also tried the chicken and asada tacos and the elotes which are also great! “I saw this place on Instagram. I thought it was a gimmick seing how much meat they pile on these sandwiches. I landed in detroit, got the rental car and went straight to this place to get a pastrami sandwich. It looked exactly as advertised. That sandwich was the best pastrami I've ever had. This was better than Katsz in new York. That sandwich melted in my mouth. I got the large pastrami on white with mustard and Swiss, and a side of Russian dressing. They have a lot of desserts and sides to choose from. I saw someone ordered an egg roll with meat stuffed inside. “This is my second trip to Robert C. Valade Park along the East Riverfront. This time, I had to check out Bob's Barge, which is Detroit's only floating bar. Limited hours, Wednesday through Friday, 4 to 9 pm. Saturday 11 an yo 9 pm and Sunday 11 am to 7 pm. Beautiful location next to the river and park. Order at the window and enjoy a beer, wine, sangria, or mimosa, then relax and enjoy the cool breeze off the river.“

“While I love the flavor of their food, the only time we've had an order 100% correct was the first time we ordered. Every time we order since then there's something missing, fries overcooked and hard, messed up items, and things added to what we've ordered when we've requested it to be removed. Thankfully I simply don't like tomatoes and onions and am not allergic to them, cuz they ALWAYS forget to remove the pico when my receipt even says "no pico de gallo". Their queso blanco and their Sabor sauce are probably the two best things about them, at least when they remember to include it even if you pay for extra. For how pricey they are I would expect to have my order correct all the time. I'll be going down to the taco trucks in Southwest Detroit from now on cuz they always get the order right, they're delicious, AND they're inexpensive.“
