“I love this place and the people who took care of us. We had a party of ten and everything was very good. What stood out to me the most was how out of the way the employees went for us. I ordered something to go also and paid for it and forgot about it and left in a hurry because I had the tickets for an event we were attending on the next block. I didn't get his name but a nice man actually came to the event to find the person who forgot their takeout order. The server remembered me saying we were going there next. He went back and got my takeout and brought it back to me. You just don't find as many people that nice who cares as much these days.”

“My husband and I tried Inyo for the first time, and it was fantastic! The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. Ricky was our server, and when I say he was the best server I've ever had at a restaurant, I truly mean it. He was attentive, friendly, and made our entire experience even better. We'll definitely be back the next time we're craving sushi!”

“we didn't even get served or get any food. they refused to serve us. it took near 10 minutes for some woman to even come over and bring us to a table. after that we watched as their servers sat at the bar, and helped every one of the maybe 6 tables in the entire place that were occupied except us. they clearly have some problem with gay people as they had no issues helping any of the other guests. i watched the servers acknowledge us and just go help the other tables. we have previously had uncomfortable experiences every single time we have been there where the male servers say things under their breath until they get so irritated with us that the female hostesses have to complete our service. i truly am astonished that someone who runs a small business/restaurant would be treating people who want to eat there like that. every employee in the establishment behaved as if we made them visibly uncomfortable so maybe consider going somewhere else if you're looking for dinner. Finally, the service was already bad to begin with on top of their utter and complete refusal to serve us this last time that we tried going. I would suggest giving your money to a restaurant that isn't fully run and owned by losers who clearly don't want money!”

“Stopped here while I was in Michigan visiting family. The staff was very nice. They had lots of vegan options and everything that was vegan was labeled. I decided to get an acai bowl. Both options had a rawnola topping and because the bowls were labeled raw and dairy free but not vegan, I asked if the rawnola had raw honey in it. They said they didn't know, so I added almond butter on top of the acai bowl instead of the rawnola. The acai bowl was pretty good, but a little small for the price. I also tried a raw apple fig ball which was yummy! Overall this was a cool place to go for lunch, but a little pricey. They had lots of options (including several raw vegan options) to choose from and pretty much all ingredients were labeled. They had a few counter seats and one outside table for seating.”

“This is a hidden gem in Ferndale, MI. The staff was great and the food was good with generous portions. The beer selection was amazing. I was a first time visitor on August 21, 2025. I signed up for the rewards program and received $10.95 off my bill. I will definitely visit this restaurant over and over again.”

I think the food here is generally good but so many of our dishes were extremely salty they were almost inedible like the rice side dish and the sauce on the chicken dish. Pickle pie isn’t that special and wouldn’t recommend. Basically an Alfredo pizza with some pickles on top.”

“I first knew Detroit Fleat when it was a restaurant, and I always enjoyed relaxing on their patio with a refreshing drink during Michigan's warm months. When they transitioned to a space focused solely on events, I felt a bit sad. However, once I became pregnant, I knew I wanted to host my baby shower at Detroit Fleat! The venue always has an excellent vibe, and their bar and planning staff are fantastic. It’s a great location and very safe for kids. Without a doubt, if I plan another party, I will definitely call Detroit Fleat again.”

“If you haven’t been to The Fly Trap in Ferndale, you are seriously missing out.

I’ve been coming here for close to 20 years, and somehow they just keep hitting the mark. From the homemade jam to the perfect muffins, the food is consistently excellent.

The service may not always be perfectly polished, but honestly, that’s part of what I love about this place. It feels personal. They care about you, they remember people, and there’s something genuinely warm about being there.

Twenty years later, I’m still coming back. That probably says more than anything else could.

The owner and staff are super friendly, my food is always ready quick, and the menu/weekly specials always have something interesting. I only wish they were open later for night owls like myself, but they're worth getting up earlier for. Go for the entrees, but don't forget to grab dessert there, too! The Coconut Cream Cake that was on special the day I'm writing this might be the best piece of cake I've ever had.”

“Best steak sub/sammich ive had in a Loooong time. Easily rivals the best ive had from a Maryland philly steak place. So good I actually missed it 20 mins after I devoured it. "A sammich is a type of sandwich. However, it is not just any kind of sandwich. Any old schmuck can throw lunchmeat between two slices of bread and have a sandwich. But no. A sammich is not just a sandwich, it is not just a meal. Sammich is a term reserved for only the holiest and mightiest of all sandwiches. A sammich is a true work of culinary art; a feast on a bun, if you will. A sammich is not made of the best ingredients; it is made of the *right* ingredients. It needs the right meats, and the right cheese(s), the right sauce, the right veggies, and the right kind of bread. Taking footlong sub bread and throwing every kind of meat and cheese and everything else under the sun or in your kitchen pantry on it does not a sammich make. It is akin to an incohesive mishmosh of colors on an artist's easel. Sandwiches make a good snack, but sammiches are forever. ❤”

“these actual heroes saved my life. nothing has ever been as delicious as those veggie drunken noodles. i was starving and the food was so hot i could barely eat it and it was phenomenal. i had to leave my noodles for a prior engagement but when i returned to them they were just as delicious and still warm. they were also delicious the next day when i reheated them in my skillet. i got three meals out of them thangs and they were the best meals of my life. i believe in love again after eating these freaking noodles. maybe the world isn't such a bad place after all because sometimes you get to eat the most incredible drunken noodles you could even imagine. i walked in five minutes before the kitchen closed as well. yet still they gave me noodles fit for a king. i could cry thinking about them.”

“I love the Bosco on Wednesday, that's the only day I've gone. They have different types of music particularly house music then it turns into old school r&b It just depends on the DJs that nite, but I've never been disappointed.. I ordered a burger for the first time the burger was huge and needs to be seasoned more but other than that it was delicious.The bar service was awesome it wasn't a long wait and I appreciate that..They have a outdoor patio where you can enter infrom the back lot that has a small bar and and where you can order food.. They also have the Woodward entrance that is air condition, but they need to fix the door in the back adjoining the patio and main club. We were sitting in the back by the door and people were not closing the door, therefore letting the air out and it wasn't cool as it can be, So if they got those doors fixed (get stuck on the floor) cuz it was kind of hot in there because of that, then everything will be perfect... Oh one more thing, they used to have good french fries when I went before and for some reason they don't have fries anymore, they have smothered potatoes which to me is a winter food.. I wish they had the fries again.”

Makes it 100% worth it! I got the Smothered Potatoes and added two eggs to the top, they were out of carnitas, so they used chorizo. In my option they should change it permanently! So delish! My husband got the Carnitas Benny, and said it was really good too! Will be back for sure!”
