“I first knew Detroit Fleat when it was a restaurant, and I always enjoyed relaxing on their patio with a refreshing drink during Michigan's warm months. When they transitioned to a space focused solely on events, I felt a bit sad. However, once I became pregnant, I knew I wanted to host my baby shower at Detroit Fleat! The venue always has an excellent vibe, and their bar and planning staff are fantastic. It’s a great location and very safe for kids. Without a doubt, if I plan another party, I will definitely call Detroit Fleat again.“

“Really enjoyed our visit here! We were seated right away, and our food and drinks arrived quickly without any long waits. We started with the calamari, which was fresh and nicely prepared, although I think it could have used a more flavorful dipping sauce. The steak frites were the real highlight—the steak was cooked perfectly, and the fries were crispy and delicious. Overall, it was a smooth, relaxed dining experience with good food and quick service. “New menu was amazing. We had the potatoes, the scallops, burrata, and mushroom with shiitake dish. Burrata was hands down my favorite, thing. Perfect combination!! Highly recommend everything I got and the service was perfect, I mean like I finished my water and by the time my glass hit the table it was refilled. This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere inside, I personally love plants and that’s the first thing you notice when you walk in the door. Check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!!“

My girl Z will ALWAYS take good care of you and makes you feel like she loves her job and loves being your server. She charms my nana every time and I’m forever grateful for staff that has the patience to entertain her. “A group of us made the quick walk over to Townhouse from the convention center. We were given the option to sit right away or wait a few minutes for a table to be cleared in the atrium. So glad we chose to wait. The atrium is beautiful! Our server, Diego, was fantastic and all his recommendations were hits at the table! He also was diligent about checking with the kitchen to ensure those in our parties with allergies/sensitivities were good with their food choices.“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. “All the people who worked there were the nicest people ever. Their soup has healed me on multiple occasions, and has alphabet noodles which I think is an adorable choice. All of the other food was really good too. Dry rub wings are awesome. The ranch was good too but the wings didn't need it. I would add a picture but I ate it all immediately 😄“

“My experience was fantastic!! Being the first time here. We went for a late lunch early dinner... The bartender was our waitress. I've been to other places where we have been served by the bartender that only cared about the regulars. She was awesome and very attentive. My dirty martini was on point! “Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

The 2 times in which I went, our group sat outside, being that it was summer. They had trivia, which I assume is every Wednesday.

As for food, I got the caprese sandwich on the first occasion and the then the Tomato basil soup on the second. Both were good but the caprese sandwich was very good. While the menu is not huge, it does offer the basics and has a few healthier options, such as vegan dishes.

Overall, the atmosphere and food qualiy make this place worth checking out.“

“I moved here in March and I’m still working on finding my new local go to spots. It’s my first time here and this is going to be my #1 go to diner/Coney Island.
It’s a family run business and it’s obvious that they work hard to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The waitresses are genuinely kind and you can tell they care about their customer.

The food was really good! It came out quick, the portions were generous, and if you like hash browns you won’t be sorry!! I’m a big coffee gal and my coffee was never empty, always hot, and as a VERY rare treat, the coffee is actually really good.

Lastly, the restaurant is clean and well maintained. It is obvious they take pride in what they do and are dedicated to making a great experience.
