“The restaurant is a little smaller with a more intimate feel. We sat at a small high top table next to the bar and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Throughout the night, at least 6 different servers took care of us (sitting next to the bar, we were taken care of by the bartenders.) The food and drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. My boyfriend had the peach cocktail and then an old fashion with honey cinnamon syrup and I had the mule which all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. We both had the Steak frites which was cooked to perfection and the fries I just couldn’t get enough of. For dessert, we took home the banana pie dessert and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake special and let me just say, oh my goodness. Neither of us knew which one we liked better. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing valentines dinner :)“

I liked the casual vibe that was half fancy restaurant vs half butcher shop (although there was also a bar on the butcher shop side). Even better female butcher/owner/chef....
I am not someone who craves meat but I will come back to see whatever tasty concoctions that the team comes up with.“

“Just had my first visit to The Townhouse, and it was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the service blew me away. Everyone was super attentive, professional, and welcoming, but Raegan really stood out. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, gave thoughtful recommendations, and her friendly energy made me feel right at home. “Went there 30 minutes before closing looking for drinks and some apps and it did not disappoint! I had the winter special old fashioned and it was wonderful! The food we ordered was also excellent, however, our bartender made the experience truly great! Rob was such an engaging and entertaining bartender. We had such fun conversations with him and he kept the bar open for us after closing time! If he’s there, we’re definitely headed back.“

“Grand Trunk Pub is a classic spot in downtown Detroit with a lot of character. The building itself is historic, and the high ceilings and old architecture give the place a really cool, vintage vibe. It feels like a mix of a traditional pub and a local Detroit hangout.

The food is solid pub-style comfort food. I tried the Reuben sandwich and it was flavorful and satisfying, especially with one of their Michigan craft beers. They have a great selection of local brews, which makes the experience even better.

Service was friendly and relaxed, and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. Overall, Grand Trunk Pub is a great place to grab a drink and a hearty meal if you’re exploring downtown Detroit.“

“Originally from Michigan but now live in Florida. Went to Detroit for the weekend to attend Red Wings games. Looked for perch dinners and found Andrew’s. Absolutely awesome perch with a generous portion. Loved the atmosphere of the old time era. Staff exceptionally friendly as was the owner. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to return. What I liked was the minimal breading so you have the true taste of perch. This is by far the place to go if you love perch.“

“Just an amazing experience! I'd never been here even though I've lived in Detroit my whole life and I've worked downtown. Mean a couple friends headed over after Sid's and they were all done up for Christmas and the bartender was amazing and drinks were pretty good!“
