My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We celebrated our August wedding anniversary at Coriander, and were delighted! We sat in the Greenhouse, the view was great, loved the decor. Our server was friendly and helpful, everyone was so kind. Loved the drinks Thad made, our meals, Rainbow Trout and Shrimp Boil were excellent. My guy enjoyed the peach cobbler for dessert, the cookies were delicious as well. As native Detroiters, we are thrilled with this venue, and will be back!
Stopped in after yoga at Detroit Abloom. Host, decor, servers all very welcoming. We had a vegan Rueben and spicy margarita outside next to the canal. Can’t wait to return!

Coriander Kitchen and Farm offers a fresh and vibrant atmosphere, bringing nature indoors. It is tucked along a quiet canal, making it feel like an escape. The burger is a must-try and extremely good worth it, and the marrow burger is delish and insanely flavorful. The jalapeno corn hush puppies are also a must, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The food is awesome and simply scrumptious, from the fish and chips to the chicken. Every dish has a thoughtful, made-from-scratch quality. The service is friendly and notable, with wait staff very friendly. Locally inspired dishes made with fresh, local ingredients create a great dining experience. The atmosphere features lots of lush flowers and plants, enhancing the overall relaxed vibe. Vegetarian dishes are labeled and abundant, making it a welcoming place for everyone.
