“Having been to Le Supréme multiple times in the last month (I've now had; brunch, and dinner service) I can say it's easily one of my favorite spots. My first time walking in the space I was amazed at all the attention to detail. It's an impeccably Parisian bistro with dark hardwood, and cosy booths. Servers float through the dining room in white shirts and ties, they're friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging.The food leaves nothing lacking, from perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise at brunch to the punchy yet creamy Filet au Poivre. Something as simple and classic as Bistro-fare isn't as simple to execute so perfectly each time and yet here we are. For those looking for a real showstopper do not miss the seafood tower! With food like this, and a really well curated wine glass and bottle list, I'm going to be coming back as often as I can!“
“I stopped in to try the Woodward and the Farnsworth Funghi. I was able to split the pizza and do just that! The cashier was great! This pizza is delicious!!! “Oh.M.Gee....this place is amazing!! Really loved my dinner last night!! What did we have? BREAD & BUTTER 8 house sourdough, seasonal butter We started with the bread and butter. Their homemade sourdough bread was filled with all kinds of yummy grains and rivaled anything I had in Europe. It was served with cherry-jam butter, which was ok in my mind--I would have been perfectly happy with salted butter. TWICE COOKED EGG* 14 werp farms' greens, brussels sprout, salty cheese, warm shallot vinaigrette The egg atop this salad was really interesting...they took a poached egg and dipped it and fried it. The Brussels sprouts in this salad were super flavorful. I really enjoyed it. The rest of what we had was not on the website for me to grab descriptions and cost. We also had mushroom spring rolls, which were so flavorful! The tiny mushrooms in the spring rolls (not fried, my favorite kind!) were accompanied by many other fresh vegetables and had a delicious dipping sauce. We also had some broccolini and the pork chop. That pork chop was also super flavorful accompanied by collard greens, grits and cornbread. All of this food was so filling I had to take most of the pork chop dish home for today. The service was outstanding. My water glass never went below the halfway mark, and we never had need to pour wine from the bottle because Megan, our waitress, was ON IT!! While the interior of this place is loud, I didn't find myself shouting to be heard. The whole place is painted chartreuse, just like the name. We wrapped all of this up with 2 tastes of chartreuse...the green one was more herbaceous, leaning toward savory, and the yellow chartreuse was sweet. I liked the yellow best and my boyfriend preferred the green. I will highly recommend and plan to come back sometime. Yum-o!! Overall, I'd highly recommend“

“Best Thai meal at a restaurant I’ve had. Sensational. This place is worth the drive. I see a lot of reviews about small plates. That’s probably if you do the taste testing option. My daughter and I each ordered our own meal and the proportions were large enough to bring leftovers home. The flavors are incredible. They are deep and layered, and have the perfect spice.My daughter had the Jungle Mussels. The broth could be a meal on its own with the garlic toast to dip in it. The chicken curry (KHAO SOI ) was also the most flavorful version I’ve had. My only pause was the whole drumstick. I would have preferred smaller pieces in the broth than picking apart the chicken off the bone. The Coconut pan cake appetizer was fun and different. So delicious. My daughter had the non-alcoholic blackberry and cardamom tea. I had the Special Thai tea with rum. Both were delicious and complimented the meal well.My daughter was treated with a desert of coconut ice cream with a crumble topping and sauce. Was so good, no other ice cream desert could compare.The service was attentive and had a menu prepared for us to indicate the allergens we needed to avoid. “Service and ambiance were first class. Caesar salad prepared table side and Parmesan Mushroom Risotto were exceptional. Both Steaks was very salty and a little tough for a ribeye prepared medium. One steak was sent back because it was closer to well done after sitting on the hot plate. Will try again in the future and ask for light seasoning and for them to leave my steak unsliced to avoid it over cooking the interior on the hot plate its served on.“

I was later approached bye a young lady and was told we had to spend at least 200 dollars for drinks and we were only at 80 dollars! Then I was told! She thought we booked online! “I just have to GUSH about my experience with Time Will Tell! I recently held a Birthday Party there, and it was everything I had hoped for and more! From the jump, Jake, who I worked with to plan, was flexible, helpful, and communicative. They allowed me to bring in approved catering, my own sound, and even a drag queen! Everyone loved the cocktails and mocktails, as well as the picture perfect aesthetics. I also cannot give enough kudos to the staff! They were super attentive to everyone and helpful to mostly first-time visitors. Cannot recommend enough for a drink or special event!“

The drinks were so good, well balanced and left us with a buzz! lol Our server was funny, welcoming, and attentive. They comped our valet so we didn’t have to struggle to find parking like most restaurants downtown. Our reservations were for 6pm on a Sunday and we were nearly the only ones in the restaurant. I mean nothing screamed out UNTIL i got to the prime rib. It was one of the better prime ribs I ever had. 5 star plus for PR and 3 for the rest of the food, therefore 4 stars for food.With that said, I was satisfied and would return again. “I've been here twice and both times were so fun. I found the bartenders to be a delight. Our last bartender was knowledgeable about cocktails and made us things not on their menu. It is small but that's part of the charm. The lobby of the hotel is also a cool vibe so when people complain about sitting out there,I don't get it. I would only be annoyed being a hotel guest and NOT being able to sit in the lobby. The drinks aren't cheap but it's for sure a fun stop.“

“We had not been to the Caucus Club in 40 years. We will not wait that long to return. An exceptional dinner. The room is elegant and very comfortable. The tables are nicely spaced so you are never too close to your fellow diners. Antonio was our waiter and the service was excellent - half empty glasses immediately refilled and dirty dishes quickly removed. Antonio prepared a table side Caesar salad that was both light and delicious. I had scallops and my wife had chicken Scallopini. The scallops were perfectly cooked and my wife said it was the best chicken she remembers eating. For desert my wife had a chocolate torte that was otherworldly. Just a fantastic dinner. Unbeknownst to us, a jazz trio plays on Saturday evenings - a piano, stand up bass and drum. They were excellent and the music truly elevated the experience. We stayed an extra 20 minutes just listening to the trio. All the way home we talked about how wonderful our evening had been. Great food, fantastic service, elegant room, soulful jazz and a warm, comfortable ambience = exceptional evening. My new favorite restaurant.“
“Aptly named, Standby is still the best restaurant + cocktail bar in Detroit. Whenever I'm downtown, I'm hard pressed to choose to go elsewhere because I just honestly would prefer to be here. The cocktails are consistently spectacular, and the rotating food menu is always enticing and delicious. I also consistently receive exceptional service. Top this off with an immaculate vibe, and you've got the makings of, well, a standby. I've come with family to celebrate birthdays, with friends to toast to a promotion, with my husband for an intimate date night, and solo when I just wanted to treat myself. Because of the seasonal menu rotations, there is always something new and interesting to sip or bite. A constant cocktail on the menu that I highly recommend is called the Snake in the Grass. But the best cocktail I had here was called the Black Beretta and was made with clementine sherbet and black sesame - outstanding! I also love that they have a rotating "break-even bottle" - where you can get a taste of typically pricey pours of whiskey, tequila, etc. for just as much money as it costs for them to break even on the bottle.“

“This is the second time I've been to this bar, both times for live music being played there. The only issue I see for it as a venue is that the stage is just as dark as the rest of the bar. They do have a nice selection of whiskey and tequila, the bathrooms are unisex and clean, and they have cute outdoor area out back, through the pea gravel isn't the best for standing.“

Drinks are always hit or miss, but this time we came and they had the sippin Santa pop up menu which we've had elsewhere and the drinks were fantastic! Bartender told us a lot about the pop up and made great drinks. My husband ordered a whiskey ginger and he used a fresh ginger syrup which took the drink up a notch. Always will be back.“
