“I visited this past Valentine’s Day weekend and visited again this past Saturday night. I didn’t have a reservation but still got seated very quickly. It was a hot, muggy night and the hostess said she had a seat on the patio which I was fine with. I had a magnificent server, Florence, who was kind, thoughtful to recommend a drink to the person I was with and even when our drinks were brought out within a short time, apologized for the delay (which wasn’t necessary). I wish I could give a review on the party next to us because they were extremely rude, not only not giving consideration to others being on the patio but were also incredibly rude to Florence. One woman in particular was grandstanding in front of this group and demanded to speak to a manager. Florence and the Manager were both composed and dignified in spite of a rude patron that was looking to get her bill comped (for a party of nearly a dozen people) going so far as to threatening to have everyone at her table write a terrible review. I have worked in the service industry and so have so many people I know and love so this situation had me worked up and I felt it necessary to write a review that our experience was magnificent. Don’t be an a-hole to servers of any kind just because you’re an a-hole yourself. If you give respect, you get respect. Go to The Sugar House. Be a good customer.“

You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “(July 2026). First off, a big thank you to our server Jah'Qwan. He was just fantastic and really made our anniversary dinner extremely enjoyable. This was our first time dining at the Cactus Club. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best for an intimate dining experience - quaint, quiet, and a soft piano player. Very very nice. The lighting was perfect (we sometimes have a hard time seeing the menu since we are getting older :).
My wife had a 1/2 dozen west-coast oysters for an appetizer - they were just outstanding. She ordered the Veal with Risotto (it was good but definitely a shared dish as it was a large portion).
I had the Filet Mignon - cooked and seasoned perfectly!
The star of the dinner was definitely the asparagus - I know, weird, but this asparagus was probably the best I've eaten in a very long time, hands-down.
For dessert we had the Chocolate Torte - fabulous! We compared this to the torte we had at Bobby Flays' restaurant Amalfi in Las Vegas, and it was just better.
Overall, our anniversary dinner was one of the best. Accolades to Jah'Qwan, the cooking staff, and the young lady who makes the desserts. Thank you!“

“Great food! Been here many times, and always have a good experience. However, they charged gratuity on a party of 4, so be careful. I tipped on top of their 16% added into my bill. “So my friends and I were wandering around and needed some place to go and this spot was open. It was a week night in Dearborn so I really didn't expect a lot to be open but surprisingly this was a pretty solid area and a solid spot to walk around and bar hop .

There's free parking if the back lot is open so you don't have to worry about paying for parking. That's a good sign. We walked around and it's very walkable here so you don't have to stay at one spot once you park .

We came in for drinks and had a good time. They have a pool table there so we got some pool lamps. That was pretty cool as well. They have an indoor, obviously , in an outdoor seating area there were people who are sitting outside, having a good time, enjoying the night time, while we were inside at the bar. There's plenty of space there so you don't have to worry about necessarily bumping into people and that was actually pretty cool too.

Depending on when you go, you may come across a crowd because when we got there there was almost nobody there by the time we were leaving. It was about to get a little bit hectic. Not a whole lot but a little bit. That's perfectly okay because everybody's trying to find a place to go at midnight just like we were .

They played great music, the DJ was seriously on point. Jack and Coke was only $6.00 and the pours = very very very strong. I was impressed with the environment. The bartenders were nice, the people around me were nice, it was just a really cool vibe! The only thing I'll say is...the bathrooms! Way too small for the amount of people allowed in that bar. “We stopped here for lunch to try something different. We tried several items on the menu. The samosas were excellent. The eggplant dish and the chicken marsala were also very good. The fish, not so much. We felt that the ingredient to sauce ratio was off. There was not a lot of protein in any of the dishes. The naan was good too.
