“The food was WONDERFUL, I ordered Gang Curry (if I remember it correctly), and the beef and veggies and perfectly cooked.

One quick side note, their medium spicy is “Thai Medium Spicy ”; it’s really strong, so be careful for that😂”

“My wife and I finally stopped in last Wednesday after wanting to try it for years but never being in the area during their open hours (Tuesday through Saturday 4-9). We were not disappointed. I had the Chicken Gregorio which was fantastic as was the stuffed pepper soup. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiana which she loved and the Ham and Potato soup which she said was delicious. The bread and oil was great as well. We enjoyed watching the train circling above. All staff were friendly and helpful. A great experience.”

“Ordered the big boy ribeye, was served a new York strip but it was still very good, one of the best cooked steaks I've had there. Also ordered the cod, cooked perfectly and good size portion. Waitress was very nice and efficient.”

“I had breakfast at Nanas kitchen this morning. After eating, talking with company I noticed the cook wasn't wearing gloves while handling the food. He handled bacon, wiped his hands on his apron, proceeded to grab his phone and coffee and talking to customers. Not washing hands before returning to handling food. Another cook also started, no gloves, while grabbing bacon, pile of hash browns with 2 hands, in-between grabbing the trashcan from under the counter. The service and food was good but seeing the above grossed me out. Waitress was told but, said she would say something but I continued watching the cook handling food with no gloves until we left.”

“This place is great, they do the best job promoting themselves on social media of any ice cream place around. I love that every day they pick a couple names and give out free ice cream cones to anybody with those names. Folks travel from far and wide to get their free prize. 10/10 would come get a free cone again.”

“BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.”

“Grand Dad’s Bar does things right. Fast and friendly service, great food, and great prices. We had smash burgers, fries, and onion rings. “I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.”

“Came in 1/2 hour before closing. Super friendly service, no rush. Green Pepper soup was so delicious. Also, was given a sample of their Beef Barley, equally delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly, medium. Juicy, needed a bit of salt, so tasty! We tried the spinach/artichoke dip...fantastic. The place was very clean, bright and inviting. Parking might be limited, if real busy. Handicap accessible. Highly recommend 👌”

I found this gem of an ice cream shop right next to my job on Biddle Street, and it has easily become my new favorite spot. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, clean, and family-friendly. The staff is so polite, attentive, and they always serve you with a great smile. The ice cream itself is delicious, super creamy, and the portion sizes are extremely generous. It is such a pleasure to visit a business where customer service is professional, fast, and equally respectful to everyone. Highly recommended for a perfect midday treat!”

“Tammy made a custom panda/bear cake for my partner’s 50th birthday to be similar to his first birthday cake. Tammy did a good job despite having difficulty with the cake in store and having to bake a whole new cake. It turned out very nice and tasted delicious.”

“We stopped by Gizzmos between a wedding and the reception at the hall down the street. And when I said ‘we’, I mean about 25 guests! The only bartender/ wait staff was incredible !! She kept up with the orders and we all had great drinks. Bravo Gizzmos!!”

“I've been going to this place to watch the Wings win since the 1990s, but have since moved to Alaska. But everytime I come home, I'm still drawn to this place like a moth to a flame. It's changed over the years, but they still keep high quality beers in tap and in the bottle.
They removed the TV from the men's room, which needs to be out back so a guy doesn't miss a goal while having a piss. Its only fair, right?”

“This is our 2nd time here and we love it! We've been on a slow Sunday, and a busy Thursday evening. Two different experiences for sure, but each time the server was super personable and food was amazing.
The pizza is SO good! I'm from the east coast and it reminds me of pizza I had growing up...made by Italians! You can tell whoever created the menu loves food. The combinations of tastes in each dish are so satisfying and different from a lot of other places around. We definitely plan on returning a bunch!”

“Taco shells were not cooked and rice and beans were ice cold! Straight from the refrigerator! Called the Manager and he couldn’t be bothered to come to the phone! I sure won’t be back! There were no cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant and it was lunchtime! I should have known better. Don’t waste your time or your money at this dump! I won’t be back that’s for sure!”

“I’ve been here several times and the food was good except for one time. I ordered a chalupa and the shell was was so hard and stale I couldn’t even eat it. It was disappointing since this is a new location and shouldn’t be serving stale food. I still like the place as these things sometimes happen. I’ll be back as long as they don’t make it a habit. I won’t be ordering another chalupa.”

“Sportsman had been in our dinner rotation since we moved to Wyandotte 21 years ago! Still our favorite pizza! The owner greets me on sight by name and is always engaging to the customers. Staff are always polite. He runs a tight ship and the quality is always top knotch.”

“I have eaten here several times over the last few years, the food is always fresh, hot, and the portions are HUGE. The place is a "mom and pop". it's ran by the owners, a husband-and-wife team. Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.”

“I have been coming to this location faithfully for 1.5 years now. The people are so lovely. My coffee always tastes like it's made with love, and their service is fast and phenomenal. Oh, and your coffee consistently will taste the same! My biggest pet peeve is when I order the same drink and it tastes different day to day. Definitely order your coffee here.”

“From the moment I walked in, she greeted every customer with a smile, asked how everyone was doing, and even knew many customers by name. That level of genuine customer service is something so many establishments are missing today.

She was the only employee working during the lunch rush, yet she managed to keep the line moving while still making every customer feel welcomed and valued.
This Subway is located inside a hospital. I was there while my mother was having surgery and decided to stop in for lunch. I'm so glad I did.
