“First time trying Frank’s. My wife looked up places to try for good walleye and it came up so figured, why not? A little frustrating trying to find it initially, but we’re glad we did! Food was excellent. My wife had the walleye and said that it was one of the best she’s had in a long time. I had the catfish and loved it. Breading wasn’t heavy so you could taste the fish and the hush puppies were devoured quickly they were that good. All in all highly recommend and we’ll be back!“

“Great coffee but I often get the wrong food order. I got the wrong order when eating there with family. By the time my food came everybody else was done eating so I took it to go. When I got home, I saw they had given me the wrong order. Today, I stopped by to pick up bagels and biscuits and when I got home, they again had given me the wrong order. Lesson learned! Check the bag before you leave the store!

Here’s what we got:

Sun-dried tomato and basil cheese tart, warmed up with the cheese becoming gooey

Cinnamon roll croissant also warmed up, delicious

I docked 1 star for the unkind behavior of the brunette ponytailed barista. We bought an unhoused gentleman a coffee. He was with a walker and could hardly move. When the barista brought out his coffee, he asked her for cold water. She looked at him in disgust and walked away. I gave her a few mins to bring the water. When I realized she wasn’t going to, I walked over and demanded she give him the water. It was a hot, humid day. We already paid for his drink, it really didn’t need to go like that.

Besides that, all the cashiers were friendly and knowledgeable.“

“First I'd like to express how delighted I am with this cafe's staff who are always cheerful and welcoming. Their food is extremely fresh, and I am amazed at the wide selection of choices they offer in their bright, and very clean cafe. Try their soups, usually 3 or 4 choices that change each day. I like to get their lamb shawermas too, and really, their mediterrabean offerings are tasty! They also do a bunch of yummy sandwiches made right on the spot to order. I tend to try their daily specials, as those are usually being prepared and cooked freshly just moments before lunchtime. You might find a mac n cheese one day, a lasagne the next. Today I'm enjoying their spiced chicken. You can clearly see all of the ingredients offered, and if you arrive early in the day, they do a breakfast selection to keep you going. As their clean, bright, cozy space is take-out only, the outdoor deck is only 20 feet away, a nice place to eat on non-Winter days. There is a padded bench just inside nearby in a pinch. They're a family business, so please do come and satisfy your hunger.“

“I've been here twice so far. The customer service is great! The employees are nice & helpful. The lattes are delicious, I had a hot one on my 1st visit & an iced one on my 2nd. I deducted a star for 2 reasons: One, there is no 'Rose Cafe' signage on the outside of the building, so I passed it on my 1st visit & so did others who I was meeting with. A little annoying to do the turn around on Telegraph during peak hours. And second, they only offer treats to eat (cookies, cake pops & cheesecake). Drinking a latte with any of those is sugar overload. It would be great if they partnered with a local bakery for some bagels, croissants, quiche, etc. to offer a little more variety.“

However, I took a sip of the Turkish coffee just as it was prepared and was delicious and full of flavor. Extra hot (my request), plain with a layer of smooth syrup coffee grounds on the bottom.
