“Visited here because it was open late. Got myself a latte with oat milk, which was extremely good, but notice that they also sold Acai Bowls. I decided to order one. Acai bowls are known to be a little expensive, but this one wasn't too bad. Not only that, but this was probably the best and freshest Acai Bowls that I've ever ordered from anywhere. Not to mention the portion size that coincided with the price. I will definitely be coming back to try all the different kinds that they have.“

“Came in for the first time today and glad we did. The food was delicious, we got a spinach roll, Chicken salad croissant, sea salt choc chip cookie and a buckeye bar, all were very tasty. We squeezed in to the last two available seats at the bar today (Fish fry Friday) and ordered the walleye and the perch. The wait for it was a little long but holy moly, well worth the wait! The owner was in constant motion at the fryers working his butt off as were the wait staff and bartenders too. I’ve had fish all over the downriver area and this place was the best! I’m from Irish Hills where they have good fish too, but I’m telling you, try the fish at Franks! Outstanding!“

“What a lovely surprise it was to pop in for a coffee date with a longtime friend only to realize that we chose a café inside a flower boutique on Valentine's Day, of all days. This particular flower shop is a gorgeous and thoughtfully curated space, welcoming and lush. We sat together on a plush pink loveseat, talking and observing while flowers, chocolates, balloons, and teddy bears flew off the shelves in the most orderly, peaceful fashion.

I ordered the Biscoff shaken espresso (hot) and couldn't have been happier with my choice.

The manager sought out my friend and me individually to comment that we chose the busiest day of the year to stop by and thank us for staying. We assured her that it was actually a heartwarming experience.

“I make coffee myself alot I have an expensive coffee maker but I wanted to grab a fancy coffee this morning and went here. Coffees great, atmosphere is clean and quiet. But thank you for the great coffee it was so good and reliable for a change!

“Great coffee but I often get the wrong food order. I got the wrong order when eating there with family. By the time my food came everybody else was done eating so I took it to go. When I got home, I saw they had given me the wrong order. Today, I stopped by to pick up bagels and biscuits and when I got home, they again had given me the wrong order. Lesson learned! Check the bag before you leave the store!

Maria, the owner, was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a healthy treat. “This place is amazing. Turkish coffee is delicious and my favorite. I enjoy my regular coffee with heavy whipping cream, maple syrup and cinnamon. However, I took a sip of the Turkish coffee just as it was prepared and was delicious and full of flavor. Extra hot (my request), plain with a layer of smooth syrup coffee grounds on the bottom. Yes, sounds odd, but don't judge until you try it. True coffee lovers will appreciate the smooth taste. The service was wonderful and the staff was willing to answer any questions. Also, any of the wonderful desserts will compliment your coffee. This is my number one coffee shop!! ❤️“

“First time at Sams coffee the food was beautiful. We had the streaky bacon brioche with scrambled eggs, cheddar and fresh chives, every mouth full was so tasty the bacon was crispy, not greasy it was light it actually reminded me of bacon frazzle crisps it was that light. The scrambled eggs were so light and fluffy perfectly paired with the toasted brioche bun. To drink I had a chemex coffee using a Kenyon blend it was fruity and full of flavor. Then to finish a flat white which was beautiful. I highly recommended Sams Coffee we will be back very soon“
