It was my granddaughter’s 9th birthday, and he added a special touch that made her feel celebrated and truly seen. The food was excellent as always—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. “This is a retail store & I was buying an Easter ham.
Staff was very helpful & well informed about their product.
The line moved quickly.
There are many prepared side dishes and deserts available too.
Price was north of $12 / lb. for boneless, spiral cut, glazed ham. I did not get a side this time.
They also have deli meat and sandwiches.”

“May's Bakery & Country Store did an incredible job on our custom sheet cake. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious. White cake with confetti filling on one side and chocolate cake with Oreo filling on the other. They did exactly what we asked, it was ready on schedule, and everyone LOVED it. Everything we’ve tried at the bakery has been delicious, the country store has many treats and treasures, and the staff are so kind. If you’re in the Downriver area and haven’t been to May’s, get there!”

“My wife and I ordered the “Fish & Chips” When I tell you we have found our new spot for Fish in Taylor “We found our new spot” The fish was fresh & flakey, batter was light and crunchy, the tartar sauce had a good amount of relish in it. Not all mayo! Our dinner also came with soup, (3 to choose from) chicken noodle, lemon rice, and clam chowder. We chose clam chowder, very flavorful & packed with clams. This spot is right down the street from my grandkids house. I have been there many times with them but I did not put two & two together when we ordered our carry out. (Door Dash) Now that we know, you can count on us being repeat offenders. Thanks for the great meal we will still be in with the grands for Sunday breakfast lol. 5+++”

“I recently visited this location and the line was held up a bit. When I got to the window they were very apologetic as thier system had went down. I told them no worries at all stuff happens. They gave me a few donut holes for the inconvenience along with my perfectly made Mocha Mocha coffee!!! I didn't ask or expect anything for a little bit of a longer wait. “I've been eating at various Qdobas regularly since 2016...but i usually chow up in Troy since I live close to there. However I had business to do down here so I thought I'd try this one out. No offense to Troy or any other location, but I absolutely fell in LOVE with this place...including Ariona! I mostly order odd combinations but she listened and got me EXACTLY what I wanted without repeating myself, is fast, has a tremendous demeanor, is very friendly but not overdoing it (which tells me its genuine) and not that yall care but she's beautiful as well Haha. Also Kyla on the register was great as well. I tried not to beg Ariona for the rest of my visit to come work at the Troy location the whole time since this is so far away Haha. Food is fresh and the place is clean (unlike most others). And, I was there about 3 hours (waiting to do what I had to do close by) and everyone waa still laughing and pleasant when I left at 9! I didn't wanna leave! I'll definitely be back! A thousand stars!”

“I got there every Sunday and Wednesday for a Baconzilla sandwich Everytime. and Everytime, the employees take my order with a smile on their face, a couple of them even know my face and know what I want and have it ready for me as soon as I order. I have even had one employee track me down at my place of work because they messed up my order and gave me a free second sandwich, and another employee was incredibly kind and had a lot in common with my interests and we spoke and they gave me an extra fry. while the appearance of the store may seem shady, the employees are always part of the reason why I go back and why I enjoy my single sandwich.”

Atmosphere? If they could mop the floor with something other than Coca-Cola that would be awesome! Actually I think they use too much product to water when mopping the floor. Every time I go in there my feet stick to the floor and then my shoes stick to everything until I can get outside and wipe them on the grass.
Husband and I ordered the beef and cheddar. Both had more cheese than what was needed for 2 sandwiches let alone one. And while this might sound good, it's actually way too much and makes for a very sloppy sandwich. And I'm actually not sure why I ordered that because I hate the bun. Those onions are gross on that bun. I used to order it on a regular bun but at some point I was told that's not allowed so I never tried again but then the guy behind us ordered a sandwich on a different bun so I'll be doing that again from now on. And I had a togo order after we ate and I ordered it as a large combo but for some reason the guy rang it up as a medium but I didn't realize it until after I paid for it and he gave me the medium cup. I miss the old experience at Arby's before they took away the bell...and what happened to that?”
