It was my granddaughter’s 9th birthday, and he added a special touch that made her feel celebrated and truly seen. The food was excellent as always—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A memorable night thanks to both the great service and great food.”

“Nice little local bar and grill in the Taylor area. They seem to have different deals depending on the day.

I came on a Wednesday and they were supposed to have 5 Dollar Whiskey and Wings Wednesday... The whiskey deal was official. The Korean BBQ wings were actually very delicious. The only issue is the wings were full price. One could easily assume with a $5 Wings and Whiskey promotion that BOTH the Wings and whiskey would be on special, but the wings were full price. Seems like a bit of false advertising to me... I'll include a pic of the promo and let you judge for yourself.

Otherwise the place seemed pretty great. I would definitely come back on another day and try some other promotions. The staff was pleasant as well.”

“This is a retail store & I was buying an Easter ham.
Staff was very helpful & well informed about their product.
The line moved quickly.
There are many prepared side dishes and deserts available too.
Price was north of $12 / lb. for boneless, spiral cut, glazed ham. I did not get a side this time.
They also have deli meat and sandwiches.”

“May's Bakery & Country Store did an incredible job on our custom sheet cake. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious. White cake with confetti filling on one side and chocolate cake with Oreo filling on the other. They did exactly what we asked, it was ready on schedule, and everyone LOVED it. Everything we’ve tried at the bakery has been delicious, the country store has many treats and treasures, and the staff are so kind. If you’re in the Downriver area and haven’t been to May’s, get there!”

“Visited this place for the first time and chose the breakfast burger with an Impossible patty. The portion size was impressive and the taste was even better than expected. Every bite felt satisfying and well made. It turned out to be a great choice and left me wanting to return again. “My wife and I ordered the “Fish & Chips” When I tell you we have found our new spot for Fish in Taylor “We found our new spot” The fish was fresh & flakey, batter was light and crunchy, the tartar sauce had a good amount of relish in it. Not all mayo! Our dinner also came with soup, (3 to choose from) chicken noodle, lemon rice, and clam chowder. We chose clam chowder, very flavorful & packed with clams. This spot is right down the street from my grandkids house. I have been there many times with them but I did not put two & two together when we ordered our carry out. (Door Dash) Now that we know, you can count on us being repeat offenders. Thanks for the great meal we will still be in with the grands for Sunday breakfast lol. 5+++”

Still lowest prices Downriver just stop complaining, if you shop at a grocery store you might know this. Had fantastic Greek Chicken Feta Fries, Chili Special and Gyro with Salad. Fast friendly delicious food 😋 always for many decades. Hot New Greek Breakfast plate 😋 WOWED Thanks Al for this fantastic creation. Gyro Meat, Eggs topped with Feta Cheese 😋, Greens topped with Feta Cheese n Warm Pita Bread a instant addiction. Totally Wowed going back for another soon 😀. She had a Double Kielbasa Breakfast plate and Delicious Beef Barley Soup cooked low n slow for about three hours for maximum flavor OMG. “I recently visited this location and the line was held up a bit. When I got to the window they were very apologetic as thier system had went down. I told them no worries at all stuff happens. “I've been eating at various Qdobas regularly since 2016...but i usually chow up in Troy since I live close to there. However I had business to do down here so I thought I'd try this one out. No offense to Troy or any other location, but I absolutely fell in LOVE with this place...including Ariona! I mostly order odd combinations but she listened and got me EXACTLY what I wanted without repeating myself, is fast, has a tremendous demeanor, is very friendly but not overdoing it (which tells me its genuine) and not that yall care but she's beautiful as well Haha. Also Kyla on the register was great as well. I tried not to beg Ariona for the rest of my visit to come work at the Troy location the whole time since this is so far away Haha. Food is fresh and the place is clean (unlike most others). And, I was there about 3 hours (waiting to do what I had to do close by) and everyone waa still laughing and pleasant when I left at 9! I didn't wanna leave! I'll definitely be back! A thousand stars!”

“From Canada, was in town for a flight, the food is absolutely amazing. Everything so good. I had a mango margarita, traditional tacos and guacamole. The guacamole was so fresh and full of cilantro. Loved every bite. We don’t have food like this where I’m from. The staff was friendly and kind. Food was so reasonably priced. If they opened a place like this in Canada they could charge three times as what they do. Music played in the restaurant was always great. Many of my favourite Latin songs. “I got there every Sunday and Wednesday for a Baconzilla sandwich Everytime. and Everytime, the employees take my order with a smile on their face, a couple of them even know my face and know what I want and have it ready for me as soon as I order. I have even had one employee track me down at my place of work because they messed up my order and gave me a free second sandwich, and another employee was incredibly kind and had a lot in common with my interests and we spoke and they gave me an extra fry. while the appearance of the store may seem shady, the employees are always part of the reason why I go back and why I enjoy my single sandwich.”

Atmosphere? If they could mop the floor with something other than Coca-Cola that would be awesome! Actually I think they use too much product to water when mopping the floor. Every time I go in there my feet stick to the floor and then my shoes stick to everything until I can get outside and wipe them on the grass.
Husband and I ordered the beef and cheddar. Both had more cheese than what was needed for 2 sandwiches let alone one. And while this might sound good, it's actually way too much and makes for a very sloppy sandwich. And I'm actually not sure why I ordered that because I hate the bun. Those onions are gross on that bun. I used to order it on a regular bun but at some point I was told that's not allowed so I never tried again but then the guy behind us ordered a sandwich on a different bun so I'll be doing that again from now on. And I had a togo order after we ate and I ordered it as a large combo but for some reason the guy rang it up as a medium but I didn't realize it until after I paid for it and he gave me the medium cup. I miss the old experience at Arby's before they took away the bell...and what happened to that?”
