“The place looked clean inside. The lady helping me at the bar counter for my take-out order was very friendly and helpful.
Bacon Smash burger was cery good. No condiments or toppings. Make sure you ask for it. Cooked medium to medium well. Loved how we got like two whole slices of bacon as most places only place halves on it. Bun was slightly toasted but definitely good. I forgot to take pics of the burgers. Condiments as requested were on the sides. Leaf lettuce, red onions, and tomato.

Now, for the Soup! What was happening with that. Bowl of French onion soup! Charged me $6.50 for what seems to be a half of cup! (See picture). At first I thought the soup spilled in my vehicle and got worried. The brown bags were both dry. This cannot be how they usually send it home with their customers! If it was full, I would have been delighted and that would have been considered a bowl, maybe, and I would have left a 5 star review but that itself was very upsetting as a new customer. We were looking forward to having it. They did put the slice of cheese and breadcrumbs on the side for the soup. My drive home was about 11 minutes. The soup was not even hot enough to add the cheese to it for it to melt.

The fried mushrooms were HUGE! A good portion for the price but way too big for me. Very juicy too so be careful. I am not a fan of huge whole mushrooms as other may be. And I do not like the stems on them. Others might. They dip the mushrooms in something after they are done cooking. Couldn't really taste it.

The onion rings are huge and beer battered. Very good but too much grease for me.

Overall, yeah, we may go back but try eating in instead of a takeout order.
Maybe not. Who knows. Gonna take us some time to try again for sure.“

“This place is great. Order food ahead and pull through drive-through pick up or go in and grab. Food is same as dine in resturant but I swear costs less. Been probably 10 times and is always fast and good. We have had a couple problems with orders but the manager has gone above and beyond to make it right. Wish more places did business that way.“

“I went there for dinner today after a long week of work to start my birthday weekend! My birthday is tomorrow. I am handicapped and need a low table. The patio was the only low table. Next to a guy and his dog. There were 7 in all out there. It smelled like wet, nasty, dirty, need a bath, dog! I spent $42! On top of that, my waitress walked away after asking me if my Mahi Mahi tacos were made correctly and I said I clearly haven't bit into them yet, and after I asked her if she could smell wet dog. I never saw her again. Did I want another glass of wine? Was my food made correctly? I had to ask another waitress if she could grab my waitress and have her bring my bill and to go containers! Then my waitress comes and says I was just coming over. I said I never saw you since you brought my food! She again walked away! Niiiiiice customer service! Maybe she should think about another line of work! I have 38yrs of CSR experience! Maybe next time she will be worthy of a tip! She sure wasn't this time and I will not be going back to the non service dog patio or restaurant! Which is a shame as you make the Mahi Mahi tacos how I like, BJ's Brewhouse doesn't.“

“We were supposed to celebrate my sons 21st birthday at at different establishment, but do to a technical computer error, that establishment was closed for the day. The Bierhaven was able to accommodate my large group at the last minute. The staff were great and professional and the food was amazing. After we left the restaurant, my son left cash, visa gift cards and other items behind. We didn’t realize we left these items behind. The Bierhaven found my son on Facebook and reached out to him to get these items back to him. Most places or people would have pocketed the cash and gift cards, but they didn’t. Thank you for having an honest staff crew. We appreciate it ❤️“

My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. “My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I was seriously impressed. It is very clean and well kept! The staff was very attentive. I had to tack on, last minute, extra pizzas and pop because I had more show up than expected. The staff made it happen quickly, didn't miss a beat! They were very nice. Happy to help us. “The was an incident were in bought lunch with rewards so I was thinking my bill was going to be zero. I put $10 a side for tip because we play keno. So when the bill came it was 3 dollars for the pop I forgot about. So I told him it has to come out of the ten. So he got a $6.70 tip on a 3 dollar tab. He didn't like having to pay out of what he thought was his tip.after my keno finished I won 74 dollars and the bartender told me to go pay for my own pop. I don't think it was her place to say anything to me. And the waiter didn't get ripped off he got 6 dollars on a 3 dollar tab. And if I didn't use rewards it would have been $19 with a 6.70 tip. Well more than 20%. I will not be coming in on a Sunday EVER again.“

“Being a radio sales veteran and now part owner of a farm radio network, choosing a place to eat called The Broadcast Booth was a no-brainer! While I reviewed the menu before going and knew what I wanted to eat, I kept my expectations in check as this is a sports bar. But holy cow, was I surprised! The server told me that the food is all made from scratch, and that was clearly evident! My grilled salmon was fresh and spiced just right with a side of spicy pineapple salsa that paired perfectly. The smashed red potatoes had a great chunky texture. But I REALLY loved the grilled whole green beans! I think I could have had a plate of those alone and been satisfied! My server was still fairly new but you wouldn't have guessed it; she was up to speed on most things and very attentive but not overbearing. My only complaint is that I did bring a book in to read (instead of endless scrolling) and the music was VERY loud, even though there were relatively few patrons for the size of the place and being only a Thursday night. But like I said, this IS a sports bar so loud music is to be expected. Overall, one of my favorite meals while on my business travels!“
