“Excellent place for a unique menu of food and plenty of draft beer choices. The beer menu is extensive and the patio area is the best as well as dog friendly! I would recommend Mavs Wildfire Pasta and the Loaded Tots, however the Pretzel with cheese is awesome as well and warm and soft. Wait staff was quick to set us up with some drinks and delivered our meals in a timely fashion. We always like to try new things so we tried a Red Velvet Shot and Chocolate Strawberry Martini which were both delicious! I'm not a beer snob so to each their own but i tried the Wax Wings coming up from Ash which was surprisingly, a pretty darn good beer! We could not decide on a dessert so we got both the Baked Caramel Cookie Skillet which was absolutely delicious and the Cheesecake as well.“
“Let me just start with if you've never tried their scotch eggs you need to! We are always very pleased with the food options. The Staff is friendly & accommodated everyone's sports watching requests. The owner/ manager checked in on most tables & truly wanted everyone to enjoy. Great place all around.“
“This downriver sports bar serves up food with a typical menu. The prices and portions are both reasonable. The service was excellent and friendly.Vegetarian options: Very limited non meat options.Parking: The parking lot behind the building is very large.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance and bar interior appear to be barrier free.“
“Enjoyable dining experience with the family. Great atmosphere, good service and about the what you would expect for food. Obviously, an amazing selection of wings and sauces, whether you need to scald your taste buds or add a bit of sweet to your palate. I found their hamburgers about on par with other trendy themed establishments - nothing that sets them apart, but still worth a return trip. A bit pricey if you’re bringing the family, so come prepared.“
“Came to listen to band and have a drink. Nice place to visit, friendly waitstaff and friendly people. Would recommend others to come here. Food looked good and plenty of people were eating.Kid-friendliness: There are choices for kids to eat. Staff were good with kids. Interacting with them.“
“Great tavern/dive bar experience. Been a few times now and every time had a good experience.Drink prices are very fair and great selection of brews and cocktails. Standard ales and brews with some IPA's mixed in along with a variety of mixed cocktails including local specials. The food has always been on point. My absolute favorite so far has been a cup of clam chowder and plate of fresh fried fish and fries. Not fried in overused butter nasty oil. Light crispy white fish and hand cut seasoned fries were great with a Sam Adams. Also had good ol'e standard American cheeseburger and was very well made. Perfect grill patty with standard fixings was right on point. Wife has had salads along with a chicken wrap and I have to say all looked and according to her tasted as good as my meals.Always clean floors and atmosphere is welcoming. Plenty of screens to watch the game or just hang with friends. Staff always smiling and performing well.Great place for something as simple as a quick lunch or a nice dinner out!Vegetarian options: Salads and soupsWheelchair accessibility: Level to parking lot and sidewalk entrance“
“Recommend! The only bar to need to go to in downtown Wyandotte! Drinks are always great, well mixed and made, and always quick even with a crowded night with a wait out the door. Service is phenomenal, no bar I’ve been to compares to the friendliness, chill vibes and personable experience you get from Grand Dad’s waiters/bartenders. Brittney is usually our waitress and we all love her, great part of the team! The owners always seem present when we visit and they are always, always helping out (cleaning tables, helping at bar, running food, etc), that is awesome. Highly recommend going to Grand Dad’s, it’s always a great time!Parking: Parking available along Sycamore St but limited. Free parking lot available by Yack Arena at end of storefronts building.“
“My husband and I had an early dinner around 330p, so we could go to a movie. Alex was our waitress and she was amazing! She checked in on us frequently, was very pleasant and got everything correct, that we ordered. She was the best waitress, we've had in a long time! I had the sirloin steak, broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes, with a side salad and my husband had the ribs, fries and coleslaw. Both were delicious and cooked just right! Highly recommend!“
“I had decided to stop here, at the last minute for a beverage and a snack on my way home, as I didn't have the best day. I was greeted with a smile and a hello. I sat at the bar, and Mindy, the bartender, took care of me. She was most pleasant and cheerful, and though she was busy, she made everyone including me feel like they were the only customer she had. I ended up staying longer than I had planned, this is by far the best experience I've had at Applebee's, thanks to Mindy who turned my less than stellar day 180° and ended it way better than it started. Thank you Mindy.“
“Our servers name was Brooke she was incredible for her first day on the floor very fast and very attentive. The food was amazing. Very nice family environment I really enjoyed myself.Parking: Parking was easy access for me and my kidsKid-friendliness: Absolutely wonderful service“
“Jay is the absolutely without question One of the most diligent and personable servers that I've ever encountered. I can say unequivocally that it is because of her that we've become regulars.Went back cuz it was so fun and we had Jade and she was super great, just lovely smiling every time and made our friend visit easy peasy!“
“Anybody reading this, my mamaw was the barmaid there beginning in the 60s. Annie Ruth Ladd. They also lived above the bar for some time. My mother told me that she vividly remembers looking out the window and seeing the National guard going down Jefferson into Detroit. At that time, she was 9 years old. My mother grew up to work in the bar. Her name is Roseann or Rosie. I spent lots of my youth there, playing quarter machines. Rosie Also worked Square Deal. Y'all probably knew my papaw too his name was Jim Ray Boatwright and he was known in River Rouge as being one of the Town drunks lol God rest his soulCan't wait to stop in and reminisce! Also, if anybody knew my family or can share stories, please let me know. Thank you.“
“Our usual server, Erin, makes this place our go to for family dinners. The food has been AMAZING since the new ownership, but Erin’s service has made Sports a standout for our family. She is quick to attend to our needs, and she’s always extra kind and attentive to our son and our dog (when the patio is open). I highly recommend Sports for anyone who loves good food and good service.“
“This is a great family owned and operated business. The customer service is amazing. You won't get treated this good anywhere else, the front counter, snack bar and bar staff are top notch. Birthday parties are the best, open bowling is a lot of fun and if you are a bowling novice the staff is extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.“
“Great Irish pub style bar tucked off a busy road. Great service drinks and tasty bar food. Recommend the Ramona which is a nice twist on the Reuben switching sweet coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. Friendly staff and love the design and Irish atmosphere! Highly “
“3Nicks ScoreBoard pub has the nicest, most intelligent, friendliest, and best looking customers! Awesome beer selection, awesome service, awesome food. Themed meals daily & monthly. Pizza is worth the wait. Steak bites appetizer is delicious. Free professional cicerone consultation available most days. Always free parking.“
“Cool little place. It has sort of an old saloon feel to it. There is not a lot of room, but there is a smoking area that's screened in. There are also pool tables in another area.I came in here for just the 2nd time the other day. I ordered a tequila mixed drink and then a beer. The price was pretty good. Keep in mind, that other than salty snacks, there is no food.Overall, this place is good for getting a shot and a beer. It's pretty reasonably priced and has kind of an old saloon vibe.“
“I came here today for music bingo it's so much fun. But also had to try some food, I wasn't able to get the best pictures because the lights are low. Their onion rings and Fried pickles are hand battered and Fried perfectly they were both really good. I didn't care too much for the boneless bbq chicken. The wrap was pretty good as well it was just the perfect amount of heat. The service was great our waitress had all the tables in the main seating area and she was able to keep up with all of us. I will definitely come back great experience“
“I’ve been here on multiple different occasions.Only had one Soso experience, and it was with a new server who was fired the same night we were there, besides that every experience has been great. The food is always amazing, extremely fresh and delicious. The service has always been great, very attentive waitresses, even when they are swamped.Definitely recommend this small locally owned business.“
“stopped in for lunch. the food was very tasty and perfectly prepared. definitely have to try the jalapeno shrimp dipped in mac n'cheese, it was dangerously yummy. the lovely waitress we had, did everything to ensure the visit was amazing, setting the bar for great service. this place is a new go to, when in Amherstburg and hungry.“
“Clean Place with a nice Vibe. Service was fast and friendly. The beer was nice and cold and brought out in cold mugs. Food was really tasty and the prices were really cheap. Only complaint is we asked them to change one of the TVs to the Basketball Tournament and they said they would but never did. In their defense it was quite busy. Nachos and Burgers were great.“
“Came for a birthday party in the private area and the staff rocked.Everything was clean The drinks were kept up on and even the owner was present to make sure that everybody was having an awesome time. This is a really great venue if you're having a large group out!“
“Came here for music bingo, always a lot of fun. I did not care for the boneless chicken with bbq sauce, the chicken just had weird taste to me. I would come back but I would order something different, the spicy chicken wrap was pretty good. The fries were the typical shoestring fries. The service was cool and friendly. We were waited on in a decent about of time, even though they were busy, I will check this place out again“
“The appetizers were delicious ?. The new sizzling skillets were honestly sizzling while they came to the table. The waitress was prompt with the food, drinks and continued to check to see if anything else was needed. I only wish I could have made it for happy hour. ??“
“From the moment we walked in our server, Kristian, was attentive, funny, personable, and timely. Couldn’t ask for more. My daughter and I came for a quick bite for dinner and Kristian did not disappoint. He bounced back and forth between multiple tables never missing a beat. Thank you for the great experience. Will be back again!“
