“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“Dined in with my coworker after a long shift and experienced such great service. Cre was our server and she had no problem taking care of us as indecisive as we were. Food was made fresh. The busser, David was exceptional as well. Accommodating anything we needed. We will definitely be back.“

“Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Service was great. Server was attentive, but mostly gave 5- stars because of her personality and people skills. Minimal wait time to be seated. Ambience was great and felt safe. Plenty of food for the price. Steak was a little thin and overcooked but well seasoned. Star of the plate was the deep fried lobster tail. Zip sauce was good but not great- taste and consistency was a little off. Menu is a mini version of bigger locations I have been to (eg midtown). Drinks were good. Parking lot is small but easy to find parking. Bathrooms were clean. Spent about $140 for three people with drinks (minus tip). Would definitely visit again.“

“Five of us left a convention at the nearby Marriott and dropped in on Sunday for lunch. Friday's is usually low friction, and that held up!
The salads were tasty. The burgers were well cooked. The ribs were a good size. The drinks stayed filled.
Haven't been to a Friday's in a minute, but putting this one on my list to revisit when I'm in the area.“

“Food was good and service was acceptable (nothing special) but you had a group of 5 guys leave your restaurant last night somewhat bewildered after your waitress Katarina made it quite clear she was not happy with the 20% tip we gave her. Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.“

“We just held a baby shower in the enclosed outdoor Patio at the Troy location, January 18th. Was worried it would be cold since it was in the low 20s outside and windy, but it was wonderful. Staff was wonderful to work with from all the pre-planning with Jenna through the entire staff at the Troy Location. Servers were very attentive to all the guests. Manager worked with us on how and when we wanted the appetizers served, followed by lunch and then dessert. It was a great location for the shower. It was like having it in our own backyard but with service and none of the cleanup! The fireplace with the chairs by it was a great place to display prizes for the guests and a great place for the new mom and dad to open the gifts with everyone being able to see. It was easy to walk around and talk to everyone. We will definitely recommend to our friends for future events.“

“The old locker room is where I met my husband of 35 years now, but the new locker has a great vibe as well. Food is Awesome, staff are friendly and helpful and the music brings a vibe that makes you happy and want to party. Let’s just say I love the Locker room. Ask for Lacey she’s the best waitress.“

“This is a typical sports bar, with lots of TVs....great for watching a Tigers game! Teh beer selection was decent, and the staff good....efficient and friendly. The menu is "typical" bar fare; we had some pizza, which was OK for bar food pizza. Not a bad, un pretentious place to grab a drink and watch a game.“

“Excellent place to catch a big game. Went there for World Series game 7 and I was concerned they weren't going to have sound for the game. They did! “The Hideout shocked me, i drove by for many years and figured it was a hole/little bar. When I walked in the interior was very nice. So the business end of the review, i had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and it was so darn good I was shocked. I came back the following night it was so good hoping they could replicate it, im not here for the drinks but the cheeseburger! Once again the chef comes through with a home run. Ill be back tomorrow or the next day, its that good and its of tremendous value, im not sure how they do it. The place is a gem!“

“On a Saturday night my girlfriend and I wanted to go somewhere close and somewhere simple and we found The coach grill. First thing i saw was how busy and cozy the place seemed right when we walked in. After the staff cleaned a table very quickly and seated us, we looked over the menu. I heard of the famous Ruben sandwich and I wanted to try their wagyu burgers. So we ordered both, it was not a long wait at all...first impression was the Ruben was fresh and delicious and packed with flavor....while being a thick sandwich the bread was toasty and did not turn soggy. The wagyu burger I got with with cheddar and mushrooms was juicy and well made we also got the garlic fries which were hand cut, tasty and hot to the touch.
The staff was very kind and attentive, always checking on us, replacing drinks without being asked and being quick to clean off the table of plates we were done with....but not being pushy in any way.
The vibe was busy but still nice and the music was at a perfect volume,not too loud and the place had a nice style.
I would not only recommend this establishment if you like american bar food but I will definitely be back for that Ruben again“

We paid full price for 7 drinks but when we realized there was a happy hour menu & wanted to try a drink off of it- our waitress mentioned it was 6:00 & too late. We said it’s 5:55. She replied we go by bar time. What? She ended up putting it in but we found it odd after spending $150 in food & drinks up to that point she’d give us grief about getting $4 off a happy hour drink we wanted to try. We’d go back but for sure ask about specials prior to ordering as they weren’t mentioned.“
