“I stopped in I wanted some food. I decided to check out the Nikola’s. Food was delicious very tasty well cooked. I enjoyed my meal and was so full that I could not even eat my dessert. I will come back again and try the barbecue ribs they looked good.“

“I only had a sandwich and some mozzarella sticks but those were good and other people seemed happy with their meals - but mostly here to say the atmosphere / service at this place is unmatched. Amy & Heather who I got the opportunity to have as bartenders and servers both times I came (and they’re sisters! How fun) both went beyond the call of normal service. This place was the closest nearby spot to an emergency vet I took my dog to after an attack. I was obviously a bit solemn when I came in the first time for lunch and immediately they asked me if I was okay and both came around the bar to hug me when tears started welling and listened to my story and showed so much care and compassion for my poor doggy. When I came back a week later they recognized me IMMEDIATELY and asked how my boy was doing and were overjoyed when I said he’s healing well and getting stitched up today. I also wanted to come back to get their names just so I could be sure to mention them by name in a review because they certainly deserve it. Outside of that, clearly they (and the rest of the staff here) have compassion and familiarity with mostly everyone who walked in the door. They impressively remembered names, usual orders, and asked specific questions about peoples’ lives (and I was sitting at the bar for a long time while I waited for my dog both times and got to witness LOTS of interactions) - all were overwhelmingly positive. I love love LOVE this place. I live in Detroit and rarely come to the suburbs unless I need to - but I might have to start making Mr. Joe’s a regular stop ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“We ordered omelets, which came with hash browns and toast. Everything was brought out promptly. Coffee and hot chocolate were good. I don't believe the omelets were cooked from scratch, but they were acceptable. The service was good. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking is available in front of the restaurant. It's a good spot for a meal and conversation.“

“My experience here was fulfilling. There was no wait for a table, as dine ins seat themselves. The booths and tables are clean, the diner is spacious and cozy. “Great location and good food. Staffers are very nice bringing the food to your car. My dissatisfaction, is with the spicy chicken sandwich I received, the sandwich (did not) have lettuce on it.
The lettuce was under the sandwich...and not on the sandwich.
Smh... I thought that was odd and weird.. so im not sure about it. I do know it's not correct, smh.“

“Breakfast buffet....if you are hungry, and want a lot of food, this is the place to be. My only advice is to go early, because the quality of the food gets worse the later it gets. No change...A lot of low to mid range quality food, it is quiet though.“
