“Nicks restaurant is a fine establishment. From their early bird specials to their daily specials, you can't find a better place to enjoy a meal. Delicious food and wonderful service makes for relaxed down home cooked meal. You can always get a carryout if you don't want to eat out. Nick is the nicest guy you ever want to meet and he cares about his customers. If you want a good meal at a reasonable price, try Nick's restaurant. I can't say enough good things about Nick's. Please try a Mexican omelet which has chili on it. Wow!!!“
“Just stopped here after months of wanting to do so. I had their small Greek chicken salad! It’s huge! The vegetables all tasted fresh! The chicken was perfect and so was the dressing. These days, the quality at most restaurants (regardless of price range), is at best a 2/5 stars. Apovini is the exception to the rule! I work across the street and will by stopping by here more often! Absolutely amazing salad!“
“There were 3 of us and we all ordered at the same time. I ordered a salad with salmon, the two people I was with had egg plates and were completely done eating by the time my food finally came out. A bit disheartening they then had to wait for me to finish and I rushed to eat. We finished our drinks and were never asked if we wanted another. Either they put our food in wrong or they were short staff but still frustrating. We didn’t go until 1PM they were not overly busy.“
“An absolute staple. Renshaw is easily my favorite bar around. Their food is as good as "bar food" gets, and you truly just cannot beat a $2.50 beer. Add pull tabs AND TouchTunes? I'm in heaven. Couldn't recommend this enough. Service has always been above average, even when going with an entire softball team after our games.“
“National is definitely our go to! I’m laid off and wanted some affordable, yummy breakfast to warm my soul. Today the sausage links were just spot on! I do wish they still had a small Hani and I REALLY wish they could bring back the Hawaiian Chicken Salad (or can you please, please tell me how to get the dressing or make it!?!). Pretty please!? I’d go multiple times a week if you had this again!! Anyways - love the staff. They know me, my kids, and my Jeep - I feel like I’m with friends there. Thanks, team!! PS - loooove that my daughter can get her fave - chicken tenders - at breakfast time!!Dietary restrictions: Definitely accommodates.Parking: Zero issues parking - ever.Kid-friendliness: Amazing option for kids. This is a huge reason as to why we come here.Wheelchair accessibility: Def handicap friendly!“
“Found myself in Clawson today at lunch time. Found Woodpile with Google.I ordered the weekday lunch special for $12.95 - one meat, one side and a pop - and got a second side becauseI couldnt decide. Still under $20 with tip.The lady at the counter was very pleasant and possessed an honest sense of humor and wore a smile the whole time. One bite of the brisket, before sauce and without the bun, and I knew I'd be back here. Perfection in three thick slices carefully laid on the bun. Moist, tender, almost falling apart. Then I tried the mac & cheese. Another hit. I wish I could make it half as good. Noodles are perfectly cooked, the sauce is almost decadent in its flavor and delightfully creamy. The coleslaw. Among the best I've ever had. It has actual flavor. Not just some cabbage & dressing, there is thought behind this side. Multiple vegetables with just a hint of cayenne (?) & maybe horseradish. Not hot, just seriously tasty.Even the corn bread, wrapped in foil, was moist, sweet, delicious. The tables built around barrels are cool, as are the "live edge" high tops. There is outdoor seating as well for the non-winter months. They have carry-out as well.Like I said before, I'll be back. Having recently moved from Tampa area, I have to try the Barbe-Cuban sandwich to see how it stacks up.Parking: The off-street parking is only about 8 spaces. Room for about 4 more on the street.Kid-friendliness: One look at the menu and the kids will be happy.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room inside, wide entry door is easy to open.“
“We ordered take out for my father's birthday. The food was out standing. The service was unbelievable. Kelseyville was so nice and so very helpful. In fact we had left our bag with the desert behind and she called to let us know, we could come back or they could refund our money. Of course we went back. Such great food and such wonderful service“
“Haven't been here in years mostly because of the smell and mediocre service however went here after work recently and was pleasantly surprised! It no longer smells like spilled alcohol and stale cigarettes. Also the server we had was very attentive and nice. The bartender also was courteous by asking if the music was too loud as she was adjusting it. I've never encountered that before and quite honestly it should be more often in other establishments! The food was good. Deep fried food didn't taste like old grease & my friend's gyro was HUGE (and she said it was good).Happy to say we'll be back. Much better atmosphere there now than in the past for sure.“
“Good family style restaurant, good menu, plenty of menu selections and nice, friendly and fast service. Highly recommended if you like family style dining. The senior specials that come with fries, come loaded with fries. I know some people like fries, but this is just a little too much.“
“Craving a Reuben sandwich and a cold beer, my friend and I decided to dine out together. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the pricing—each draft Oberon beer costing $8.50 and the sandwiches starting at a minimum of $15. As we enjoyed our meal, the realization dawned on us that what we thought would be a quick and casual dinner turned out to be unexpectedly pricey, totaling around $100. To add to the surprise, we discovered that the restaurant automatically includes a 3% charge to credit card transactions.“
“This is a great place for home cooked meals ribeye steak, chicken pitas, meatloaf, large fresh salads, taziki with pita bread and saganaki! The atmosphere is charming and the service is with a smile. I've been there several times at all dining times and if I had a complaint it was addressed right away. It's a nice place for you and the grandparents ? or even with a close friend. It's quiet so you can enjoy conversation.“
“Great breakfast and wonderful service. We had the coconut French toast and eggs Benedict. Both dishes came to the table nice and hot and oh so good! Even the breakfast potatoes were good! Get there early as it fills up fast. Will definitely be back!“
