“This weekend we visited Detroit Fleat to check out their brunch, and I have to say it’s one of the most family-friendly and pet-friendly restaurants we’ve been to all summer. The restaurant has ample space for strollers and high chairs. The outdoor patio and kid play area are a huge plus — it allowed us to relax and enjoy our meal while our daughter had fun.
Our server, Marissa, was excellent — a true 10/10. Her patience, service, and attention to detail made the experience even better.
For food, we ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Nachos, Pancakes, and Mac and Cheese for our daughter. Everything was delicious — we’d give it all a 10/10, except the pancakes, which we’d rate a 7/10.
The ambiance was relaxed and laid-back, perfect for a weekend brunch. One small area for improvement is the host stand — when we first walked in, there was no greeter, and we only got seated after walking inside and being directed by staff behind the bar.
Overall, we loved the experience and especially the patio. We’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy more time outside with both family and friends.“

“Brie was very attentive and kind while we ate. Got the Avocado Ranch burger with the veggie patty instead and it was good. their hummus is a little bland but everything else was good. big selection of stuff to chose from and has something for just about anyone. Service was the best part of it tho“

“"Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came!" Hambo is EXCELLENT all the way around! Great food, consistent customer service that makes you feel right at home, and the staff has been a real blessing to me, my husband, and our children! “This is a hidden gem in Ferndale, MI. The staff was great and the food was good with generous portions. The beer selection was amazing. I was a first time visitor on August 21, 2025. I signed up for the rewards program and received $10.95 off my bill. I will definitely visit this restaurant over and over again.“

“The customer service is horrible. The food is nasty and they’re unsanitary. I found hair in both my sandwiches and they would not remake it nor give us a refund. The waitress argued and cussed at me! I’m outraged“

“Dinner with friends, first dates, family get-togethers—the Corner is the perfect place for all of it. I'm one of those people that needs an activity, and there's truly never a dull moment at this spot. Food and service is alright, too. I would recommend the mac and cheese - probably not the truffle fries. Definitely worth a visit!“

“I ordered a original Corned Beef sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, but they didn't toast the bread like I asked. It was soggy, so I just ate the inside. They always get it right when I order thru GrubHub, but who wants to pay $40 for a sandwich!“
