“I had not been to a Beefcarver since I was a kid to the location on 8 mile. Stopped in today to the Woodward location. Food was good, the atmosphere is very nostalgic (I loved it), and the staff was amazing. The gentleman waiting on us was very friendly and very on top of things! We will be back.“

Can we say A1? Everything about this place was amazing. The food was superb- haven't had better. The waiter, hostess, setting- all perfect. Just keep doing what you have been doing. We've driven past this place so many times and only very recently realized it was an actual restaurant. We already have started making plans to return and bring our family.“

“We were instantly greeted and seated. Our server Robby was awesome. The entire staff was friendly. Chef Johnny is very talented and friendly. I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.“

“A local gem! A delightful neighborhood restaurant with a chill atmosphere. I love the food! The menu changes regularly, so you’ll never be bored. The menu isn’t huge but there is an excellent variety of meat, seafood, pasta, fish, salad and vegetables. Every dish is flavorful and exciting. Chef uses quality ingredients.
Clean bathrooms and happy people working there.
Good idea to make a reservation a head of time.
Bonus that they have their own parking lot!!!!!“

“All the people who worked there were the nicest people ever. Their soup has healed me on multiple occasions, and has alphabet noodles which I think is an adorable choice. All of the other food was really good too. Dry rub wings are awesome. The ranch was good too but the wings didn't need it. I would add a picture but I ate it all immediately 😄“

“I have been going to Olga's for more than 20 years in downtown Birmingham, Troy at Oakland Mall, and now usually in Royal Oak. For years the spiral cut French fries have been my favorite fries at any fast casual chain. Yesterday I was at Royal Oak and the fries have changed for the worse. There is a new batter style and they were too salty. Please bring back the old fries!!!“

“This place is crazy good.
I got the hangover burger and some cheese sauce for my fries (I recommend dunking ur burger in it too omghhh).
The bacon has a super smokey flavor, the egg was perfectly runny, hash brown didn't get soggy, patties were cooked nice. I love the fries too, has a little sugar and balances out the salty.
I went home and slept for 3 hours so if you have plans after I wouldn't recommend it 😂.
Bloody Mary was good too, nice n peppery
