Rock & Brews Royal Oak Reviews
Disappointed. Instagram posts had me anxiously awaiting the opening. Sadly, it did not live up to the hype. I made reservations for 5pm on a Friday, although they weren't necessary, they were dead. Service was okay. I won't use our server's name because although she was not attentive at all, she was very nice. Food was nothing special and pretty mediocre. The atmosphere was incredible. The decor is fun and nostalgic. Something surprising was that the place looks new and cool,...read full review

Rock & Brews Royal Oak is a new addition to Royal Oak with an incredible atmosphere and fun, nostalgic decor. The place is really clean and features a sheer amount of rock memorabilia everywhere, making it incredible to look at. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, including a live cover band on the second floor and a rock band on the rooftop, with a DJ closing out the night. Everyone working there was super friendly and you can feel the employees enjoy their jobs. The food was outstanding, and the burgers and fries are one of the best ever eaten, with the Smokehouse burger described as top notch. The fried pickle appetizer, chicken taco, and brownie for dessert were offered on a special menu for $35. The beers were solid, and prices are fair. Some negatives mentioned include uneven, broken, and taped together floors, and the place is a bitch to find with parking that sucks. The lower level is underwhelming, and there was no draft miller lite. Overall, it is an awesome addition to Royal Oak and definitely worth checking out.
