“Food is good. Don't get a pop though. They charged $5 for a full glass of ice with a splash of Coke. Will never order a pop from there again. She never came to ask about refill either. Ridiculous!“

“Patti the cook! OMG! Saturday night, all by herself, no help what so ever! Our waitress said she COULD be behind because she’s on her own so our may take a little longer, we said no problem. That was not the case , we had our food in like 10 minutes! I sat at the bar and watched her do the job of about 3-4 people the rest of the night! She’s amazing! This woman deserves a raise for sure !“

We saw some bands play in their parking lot during Royal Oak Tacofest. There's a small outdoor patio, and several tables inside The Rock on 3rd. Their beer menu is decent, and their martinis are delicious. Must visit!!“

“Wonderful food and service. Great atmosphere. Loved the patio. Only down fall was there was no diaper changing table in the bathrooms. It is super disappointing to go to a restaurant that advertises a children’s menu and then having no changing table.“

“We happened across Bar Louie while strolling through the streets of Royal Oak and decided to stop for lunch. We both ordered the toasted bacon, tomato and cheese sandwich with a soup dipper, and it was absolutely delicious. Such a simple meal, but it was the perfect lunch!

A side note, I’m visiting from Australia, and I still can’t get used to how enormous the drinks are in America. Every time I order one, I’m amazed by the size!

What really made the experience stand out was the service. The lady looking after our table was lovely, friendly, and checked in to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Great food, huge drinks, and warm hospitality made for a really enjoyable experience. We’d happily come back!“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “We hosted my toddlers birthday party here last month. We had an excellent experience. The food was ready right on time and delicious. We had multiple servers who were so attentive and kind. I don’t think anyone had an empty glass at any point. It was a Saturday evening with a packed bar and we couldn’t even tell in the side room. He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“The most classic sports bar a sports bar can get. Some of the best pizza in town, some of the best wings in town, in the atmosphere is a classic sports bar. They even got the Jumbotron as a queer guy who likes sports And good food, This place is awesome.“

“I’ve never had authentic Cajun food in all my 43 years of existence until today. This food is SO GOOD that it was almost a religious experience. The gumbo is freaking FIRE. flavorful. Well seasoned. Perfectly cooked. They have the most delicious coleslaw I ever had and the grand finale is the Cajun angel pasta. Great portion size. Perfectly prepared. And they don’t skimp on the protein. It was all very well packaged and the best part is that it’s budget friendly when it comes to pricing. I was so in love with this food when I tasted it that I actually almost cried. My hat is off to the staff and the chefs. If you should ever close it will be a travesty. It’s like getting a taste of the N’Orleans life right here in Michigan. TAKE. MY. MONEY. “Had an incredible dinner and great drinks tonight here. The clam chowder was absolutely amazing you could taste the freshness. We had burgers that were amazing the comes from an amazing local company the owner was telling us about. Chicken strips are amazing they were fresh not frozen and the bang bang shrimp were killer. Really enjoyed the owners story and passion for the place he was super hands on with everything. Everything that hit the table was very very impressive definitely a must try! Absolutely going back.“

“Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“I could eat at celebrities bar and grill everyday! The lamb chops are great with the celebity sauce a must try you won't be disappointed. I normally get turkey chops with a side of mac n cheese and a side of yams and they never disappoint. They know what they're doing with the food so give them a try if you never had it you'll be glad you did. Only thing I wish they would change is taking orders over the phone again because it can be a nice little wait sometimes to get your food after you order in person depending on how busy they are.“
