“Food is good. Don't get a pop though. They charged $5 for a full glass of ice with a splash of Coke. Will never order a pop from there again. She never came to ask about refill either. Ridiculous!“

That was not the case , we had our food in like 10 minutes! I sat at the bar and watched her do the job of about 3-4 people the rest of the night! She’s amazing! This woman deserves a raise for sure !“

“We didn't eat here, we stopped in for a cheer. This charming, and cozy bar had superb staff members who were extremely friendly, personable, professional, and provided speedy service. We saw some bands play in their parking lot during Royal Oak Tacofest. There's a small outdoor patio, and several tables inside The Rock on 3rd. Their beer menu is decent, and their martinis are delicious. Must visit!!“

“What a delightful bar. Cozy. Great food. Good prices. We popped in on a Sat night around 8:30 for “girl dinner”. Had the spinach and artichoke dip, mozzarella bruschetta, and two vey reasonably priced cocktails. The live music was the PERFECT volume. We could hear the music and still hold a conversation at a normal level. Jillian was friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing; just what we needed on a Saturday night. If I lived in the immediate area, I would be here all the time. Oak City Grill is my new favorite spot in Royal Oak.“

“Friends and I tried Bar Louie for restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised. I had the Monterey chicken with roasted seasonal veggies and potatoes. Very flavorful and everything was cooked/roasted just right. My friend had the Cajun shrimp and salmon and said he would order it again. Great portion sizes as well. Also came with a dessert option: had the cinnamon dusted donuts with chocolate sauces...yum! My friends had the triple chocolate cake, presented like a parfait and they really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and our waitresses were personable and attentive. We will be back.“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“We hosted my toddlers birthday party here last month. We had an excellent experience. The food was ready right on time and delicious. We had multiple servers who were so attentive and kind. I don’t think anyone had an empty glass at any point. It was a Saturday evening with a packed bar and we couldn’t even tell in the side room. If I were to rate the food based on their peers (bar food) it would be 5 stars. The menu had a lot to chose from. My brother raved about his patty melt. The chicken Quesadilla was fantastic. I am putting C. J. Mohoney's in my regular dining rotation.“

“Hop Cat is centrally located to a lot of venues in the City (Canfield and Woodward). The vibe is relaxed and our waitress was quick and attentive. The food tasted good and came out hot and ready to enjoy. The menu has something for everyone. The beer menu is extensive. We were able to place our order quick and the food came out soon thereafter. Our reservation was honored when we arrived and were sat down immediately. We were able to snag on-street parking nearby despite the predictions of multiple events causing a parking shortage. There is plenty of paid parking nearby if needed. A great place to start before a show or other event in the Midtown/Downtown area.“

“Where do I even begin? The second we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful! We took our twins out to celebrate their second birthday! Our waiter Nicholas was so kind and patient! He made sure our babies food was put in quickly and came out hot and fresh. (They were getting hangry. haha) Nicholas gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint! 👏🏽 Everything we got was fresh, hot, and delicious, from the appetizer, to our meals, to the twins' meals. Even my mocktail was spot on! Their manager, Amanda, was who delivered our food. She was so sweet and cheerful!! She came back over later on to check on us and wish our babies a happy birthday! The entire restaurant was clean and well maintained. You can truly tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Nicholas and Amanda made sure we had a great first experience. My hubby and I have decided to come back, minus babies, and have a date night so we can further enjoy the extensive, and yummy looking, menu. 10/10 highly recommend.“

We had burgers that were amazing the comes from an amazing local company the owner was telling us about. Chicken strips are amazing they were fresh not frozen and the bang bang shrimp were killer. “Over 25 crowd (most patrons were 40s +). There is a $15 minimum to use a card so if you're just having 1 drink, bring cash. No cover. Pool tables and bar. I was told they no longer sell food at this Bar & Grill but I didn't confirm if the kitchen closes very early, is temporarily closed or closed indefinitely. There is outdoor space and also a food truck up the alley behind the businesses on Grand River. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating. It's not huge but there was a perfect number of people to enjoy yourself and not be crowded with people breathing COVID unknowingly. Old school music with some hustle tracks thrown in. I would go back.“

“I could eat at celebrities bar and grill everyday! The lamb chops are great with the celebity sauce a must try you won't be disappointed. I normally get turkey chops with a side of mac n cheese and a side of yams and they never disappoint. They know what they're doing with the food so give them a try if you never had it you'll be glad you did. Only thing I wish they would change is taking orders over the phone again because it can be a nice little wait sometimes to get your food after you order in person depending on how busy they are.“
