Everything came out together. The hot food was piping hot. Our waiter was exceptional. The food was universally delicious…. We all had great meals! Parking: There are about 20 parking spots, that are very close to the front of the restaurant, as well as the option of valet parking (most evenings). The “overflow” spots are conveniently located and nearby, as well.

“Placed an order online and the website was having an issue which I did not realize until I showed up to pick up my lunch. They were super friendly and (apologetic - which was not necessary) and made my food super fast. Loved the customer service in making it right and being so so friendly. “It’s like a quaint hideaway a distance from the norm. My spouse and I always enjoy the food options for a change of pace. When it’s busy, it can get a bit loud, only because of the high ceiling and space.
The food isn’t highly seasoned but tasty. I’ve had the fish tacos, warm grain bowl, and my husband enjoyed the chicken salad on a croissant.
The staff is always welcoming and attentive.
When I want a change of pace this is my go to place.

“Once you make it past the gauntlet of teens and kids selling packaged snacks at the door, the array of scents at the perfume counter, and shoppers out with their children, you can find on Nordstrom’s 3rd floor a cafe with a view of the other side of the shopping center and the skywalk. Service was good and so was the food, but things get hectic, loud, and slow with an increase of customers. Highly recommend the cheddar chive biscuit warmed.“

“Ordered a carry out for my wife that just had surgery! She also has a gluten and egg allergy, the staff was very helpful in determining the food was free of these allergens. BTW, the chicken fettuccine Alfredo was awesome and the noodles were some of the best we have had!

This is my wife’s favorite she love the Ribeyes well done, Ocean Prime never miss with her stakes. “Hands-down, some of the best bbq, you can get in Metro-Detroit. I know many people would disagree with me, but I like it better than Slow’s or the Woodshop, any day. City BBQ’s meat is consistently better, more flavorful, the sauces offered are interesting (love the green chile!), and the staff is always kind. City BBQ is also significantly cheaper than the other afore-mentioned bbq joints. If you live in Metro-Detroit, go try it! It’s SO good!“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. Beyond serving and bartending, Zach helped us unload and load our car, hang decorative banners and Rosa was helping us brainstorm how to make the best of the space and was very sweet to make sure everything was timed out just how we wanted it! The food was absolutely delicious, too! We got the lunch buffet and would highly recommend that to anyone considering booking a party here! The staff is very friendly and they make the food quick. There isn't much room to dine in but they have tables. I recommend them if you're looking for a nice lunch but don't have much time.“

“Writing based on my own experience, both as a customer and a cook.
First off, deep respects to the chefs for the hard work that they do. Now, for my honest review.
The food was flavorful and very tasty. The garlic mash and NY strip were my favorite, and the asparagus. We were able to share the mash btwn 3, asparagus moreso for 2, but we made it work. The lava cake and creme brulee are excellent. I can say that as a customer, my meal was tasty. Enjoyed our drinks too.

Now for the feedback. No place is perfect of course;
However as a cook, I'm a bit more critical.

For the price, humbly, I could replicate the meal and save myself about $200. And that's for 3 people.
The food was delicious, but nothing made me say "oo! i need to learn how to make this!"
Presentation was neat but not remarkable.
My lobster tail was overcooked (pretty much my plate), but I refuse to waste food unless it's inedible. My filet was closer to Med-Well than medium, and that was also slightly disappointing. It was still very buttery, but not quite what i ordered. Normally places will ask if my steak is okay shortly after delivery; I do not recall being asked about my steak specifically.
We enjoyed our visit but honestly I expected just a little more for the price.
However our waiter was very kind.

Also they changed the Cheesecake 🥞 around a bit,but that same creamy savory taste didn’t miss‼️ my baby had tenders and they weee so crunchy with not a string of fat to the pulling we had to order some to go and they never made it to a doggy bag! Our sever was a bit rushy, but the atmosphere was great a lot of families dressed up with their Christmas spirited outfits like they just left the Photo Booth made it fell festive!
