We had no intention of disclosing the purpose, except to tell them it was a very special event. The hostess that seated us, got my wife to disclose the event. Before we knew it, the Manager, Eric, came to our table, expressing congratulations, etc. Several others, some we knew, and others we did not, also came to our table to express their congratulations. Eric then returned a second time, with more kind words. What we learned during this visit, Capitol Grille is not only about great food, and great service, it is about the people, very special people who made this visit extraordinary. Mike R.”

The staff was very friendly and patient as well, my brother and I were checked up on several times by the individual behind the counter. I was even more impressed with the fact that I never saw anyone just standing around while no customers were coming in. Every person in the building was always doing something. Whether it was sweeping the entry way floors, wiping tables, or cleaning counters, everyone was working together! And as customers would come in, they were waited on almost instantly no matter what was going on. I love this franchise and the standard of quality/service that they uphold!”

Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Chicken, Baked Beans and Hush Puppies are ALL EXCELLENT. The Coleslaw could have been a bit creamer, but we didn't come here for veggies or salad. “I had a large order scheduled, and I could tell when I went in that they were slammed with customers. The manager was hyping his employees up and telling them they were rockstars for handling the pressure. My food was just a few minutes late, but I could tell they were triple checking my order to make sure I got everything. In a stressful moment like that, you could expect the order to be messed up, but they wanted to make sure that didn’t happen. They were very apologetic of the slight delay, which was unnecessary but appreciated. I was impressed with the teamwork and the manager’s kindness to me and his employees. I look forward to going back.”

“I came to Umai Café in Troy for my birthday because I really wanted to try their soufflé pancakes — and they did not disappoint! They were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the sando, which was just as good — flavorful and satisfying.

The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were very kind. The only small hiccup was that the posted hours said they open at 11:30, but they didn’t open until 12:00, so keep that in mind if you’re planning an early visit.

Overall, it was a wonderful birthday treat, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!”

Less than 2minutes of sitting down, they bring my chips + salsa & guacamole! The salsa has quite a bit of a kick in heat, and the guacamole cools down the tastebuds and tastes like it has hints of lime and cilantro.

The main course: the steak burrito! You do have to pay 3$ extra for the steak, but it's so worth it! Everything is nice and tender, I recommend with the pinto beans for the burrito... Everything is well balanced and cooked deliciously!

I held my daughter’s wedding shower here two years ago, and just celebrated my other daughter’s baby shower last weekend. Both events were everything I hoped for and more. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The buffet was unique and impressed all of our guests. The room setup was perfect, elegant, comfortable, and easy to decorate, which really allowed me to create the look and feel I wanted. Pam, our head server, provided excellent service with such warmth and professionalism. Dave, the manager, checked in several times to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Carrie, my banquet and catering manager was amazing to work with, attentive, organized, and so accommodating. From the ambience to the service to the food, everything was spectacular. I highly recommend the Somerset Inn for any type of event, they truly make every celebration feel special.”

“wanted to treat an entire Senior Living community on Rochester Rd to some great pizza. I ordered party trays from Jeffrey several days ahead and everything was was perfect. I wanted to get them double cut, and next time I probably will, but seriously, I saw people > 85 (men and women) eating 2 BIG pieces, it was like serving them gold! In the past, I would bring a few Little Ceasars (because of budget -- I just donate this stuff) but this time I wanted something special. We were celebrating my mom's 95th birthday .... so I wanted to splurge. It was 100000X better than Little Ceasars and everyone loved it. Jeffrey was so nice, so professional and helpful and whomever made the pizzas that day (my husband picked them up, he said it was two women in the shop) they did an awesome job, each pizza looked and smelled beautifully, The residents were even "caught" sneaking pieces to thier apartments for later ... and it went so fast, I never even got to have some. I always order from this Jets (it is just better than the one on Auburn) and I hope corporately you please give Jeff and big thumbs up! “Awesome hot chicken restaurant. I only came here because I used to watch Houston Crosta's videos on Youtube. Didn't really like him but really just wanted to see what this place was like. It's really nicely decorated inside, nice atmosphere and everything. The employees were incredibly nice, and not in a forced way. I was worried because no one was in there at 1 PM. The sandwich I got impressed me. Probably legit one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I loved the seasoning, need to find out what's in it.

It’s 4 PM and somehow this place is completely empty. And the cinnamon roll? Unreal. It tasted like a real cinnamon roll, not one of those overly processed, fake tasting franchise ones. You know the difference immediately. This had that homemade, bakery-quality flavor, rich cinnamon, perfectly soft dough, warm all the way through, with that melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s both fluffy and gooey at the same time.

If you’re anywhere near Troy and you’re craving something sweet, go here immediately. No hesitation. No second guessing.
