“Well, if you follow me, you know that if in a city/state that has a Ruth's Chris (RC), I'm going. I went. I was disappointed. It pains me to even say it. I've only had 1 bad experience at an RC, and that was in San Antonio. Well, we have somehow circled back around to a bad 1. This time, in Detroit, Michigan. Well, technically, it's in Troy, MI, which is a little suburb outside of Detroit.Service was slim to none.1. We asked for more bread. We never received it.2. When I made my initial order, I was very detailed and requested extra croutons with my salad and A1 for my steak. Neither came out.3. Our table was cleaned once. Yet, our empty bread plate, appetizer plates, salad bowls, and used napkins were plentiful on our table. I stacked them to make room.4. Our guy was rarely seen. He popped up to ask about dessert and the check. You know, at times when it was obvious that you were possibly waiting on someone or something.5. Not a service complaint, but it was extremely dark in there. I know a certain ambiance is expected, but almost everybody in there pulled their phone out to read the menu. I didn't because I just knew it so well, but damn RC turn on the lights. Don't Teddy Pendergrass me.“
“I had lunch at the Big Beaver location. The restaurant theme was awesome. Very beautiful atmosphere and the restaurant was spotless. The red snapper I ordered was the best I ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly, the presentation and the flavors were amazing. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. The staff came by the table every ten minutes to see if I needed anything. I can't remember the last time I had service that good. The staff was very friendly and professional. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. It really was a great experience!!! Great job !!!“
“Delicious food! We had the spinach dip with pita chips-they were warm & great, also had potato soup, Flos filet & baked potatoes-all were great & our server was sweet & attentive-we will be back-we live over an hour away but we will gladly make the drive!“
“This is hands down the best steak restaurant around and is a hidden gem. We've been here twice now and have been more than impressed. The expansive menu items, cocktails, and wine selection are great. We had Rose today. She said she was busy, but you couldn't tell one bit. What a sweetheart and so efficient. We highly recommend Lucky's!!“
“Food and service here are stellar! My server’s name was Kristen and she was an absolute delight - very attentive, quick, helpful when I wasn’t sure what to get, and on top of all that, she anticipated whatever my table needed. Her recommendations of the ribeye with the rice and mushrooms were delicious. The bread and butter were so good, I’m sure I’ll be back for that alone! Everyone there is so sweet and polite, but Kristen and Madison deserve honorable mentions as they were both wonderful. I hope to be back soon and try more of the food, drinks, and desserts!“
“Came here with my husband to try out some of their happy hour bites and we were not disappointed! Their happy hour is 4-6pm Tuesday-Friday. We arrived promptly at 4pm and were the only people inside. We like to sit at the bar for better service. We tried some of their $10 small plates, wings and chicken Parmesan. The wings were good, very tasty. The voodoo sauce that the wings were tossed in was also good, but we got a very large amount, they were drowning in sauce. The chicken Parmesan over pasta was delicious and I'm still thinking about it to this day!! For drinks we got beer and wine and they were good happy hour prices. We can't wait to go back and try more items from their happy hour menu, as well as their regular menu!“
“Our family has enjoyed coming here for years and The Masters, never disappoints! We love seeing familiar smiling faces and appreciate the amazing team here. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, the ribs were tender. The gentleman who brought out our Saganaki took extra care to make it a big deal for our kids. Our server, Jennifer, was extra sweet with them as well. Thank you Nick, for always providing the best experience.“
“We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary yesterday here and it was amazing. The waitress was so nice and attentive. She made suggestions without asking and gave us space to enjoy our dinner together but still attentive to refill our drinks when needed. Love the Wagyu Filet and my husband loved his steak too. The sides are enough to share. The dessert was really good as we got the chocolate cake. Definitely will be back. Thanks for making our Anniversary dinner one to remember.“
“Hyde Park is quite established, with multiple locations across the country. However, this is my first time trying it, and we had a very satisfactory experience. The ambiance was excellent. It would be a perfect place for a date night, a small celebration, or even a work meeting. However, given the more quiet nature of the establishment, it may not be a first option for having dinner with young kids. Regardless, the service was excellent. They checked on us at the right pace, and the food came at the right time. Plus, the staff gave good recommendations and explained the menu well. We tried Steak Yzerman, a 40 oz Tomahawk (bone counted), and a feature of the day, a 26 oz Bourbon-marinated 41-day dry-aged steak. For sides, we got the roasted brussel sprouts cooked with bacon marmalade. The steak came out medium rare, as requested. One thing I have to note is that the sear on the steak was excellent. It has such a nice crust! To me, the steak is already well seasoned, but others prefer a little bit more salt and pepper. In addition, the meat is very slightly less tender than expected. It's still delicious, though! They have fried onion on the side. The Brussels sprouts were very well cooked, and the bacon marmalade was so indulgent. It didn't make a healthy side, but it sure was scrumptious. On a side note, their bread basket was excellent! I love the soft, warm pretzel sticks and the ciabatta. Overall, the food tasted great. It was a lot of food, and we had no room for dessert by the night's end. The price is reasonable for a steakhouse.“
“Great food, we had appetizers Flo’s Filets-everything was great! We will be back & we live an hour away.Vegetarian options: Salad, veggiesDietary restrictions: Salads, soups, veggiesParking: Many nearby parking spotsKid-friendliness: Many kids were dining while we were there.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in & out“
“The Madison Heights location went out of their way to make our anniversary dinner pleasant. The food was delicious (got steak and lobster tail special), the homemade potato soup fantastic. Our waitress Jasmine was cheerful, helpful (answering questions) and just a delight. The bus staff quick to bring and clear dishes. When we asked to speak to the manager Chris, he was just as pleasant. After meeting him I see why the staff is so good. Thank you all!“
“I had the Deli Burger. For a kosher upscale meal this simply could not be beat! The service was great the ambiance was beautiful but the burger cooked medium was just heavenly. No exaggeration it was the best burger I have ever had! 8 oz of perfection with pastrami and slaw with thousand island, wow! I will be back. The menu is HUGE and varied so I won't get bored either. Scott Cohen the owner has obviously put a tremendous amount of work into this place and is to be commended on what it has become a truly wonderful restaurant in the heart of Kosher Detroit.“
“I ordered a pasta that had too much sauce. The bruschetta was soggy and cold when served. The drinks and bread were ok. The server was helpful and asked if we had questions many times but the service itself was quite slow. Ambience was nice, old school Italian decor but really nice.Vegetarian options: They had veg options which is nice to see in a steakhouse“
“This will be my 2nd experience at this location, and I will return again for sure.Food = I ate seasonal halibut with a baked potatoe and the signature mac and cheese. I was very happy with the halibut cooking style as it was flakey and tastful. The Mac and cheese were creamy and delicious. The baked potato was full cooked and a full 1 pound ! HuuuuuugeService = we had a brand new day 1 waitress who was humble and didn't know how to answer our questions of which food is better the halibut or the filet, but handled herself well and supported us with anything we need. I recommend as a restaurant giving your new employees a chance to eat various dishes to better sell them and support your customers' questions better. Can't hold it against the new waitress, and she shouldn't have to pay to try out these dishes. Regardless, she was cool. She helped us the best she could and handled herself perfectlyAtmosphere = happy it was dark but had ambient lights to set the mood. I hate that when places are lit up blasted guests with light, it truly ruins the vibe.Drinks = I ordered an American mule, and it was a bit flavorless and flat. I would recommend fresh ginger a lime with a higher end carbonated ginger beer 1 out of 5 stars for the drinksConclusion = I'll return for a 3rd experience without a doubt. Also, Sidenote: I went to Cooper Hawk across the street ( 2 hours wait time ), so i left because who waits 2 hours ? walked into stoney River and sat down instantly .. also a plus“
