“Visited evening of June 30th.
Excellent food. Got the 18” super steak with mushroom and onion. Get extra cheese, salt you wont regret it. Wife had veggie sub. Grille veggies can be hit or miss. Only regret is not getting the 18”, because she said it was the best veggie sub she’s ever had. 10/10. We were visiting from Iowa and can’t wait to eat there 4-5 times when we’re back in December.
Also, employees working were super friendly and helpful.

“Big Johns is a Flint icon!! If you want a tasty, belly filling sandwich, this is it!! It's Not the cheapest, but, it is the best. I highly recommend the steak and onion, the club and other sandwiches are great as well. Though, their reputation was built on the original steak and onion!!!“
“It's a lil pricey but worth it they automatically take gratuity over 15 percent I didn't like that part.... I rather choose what I want to tip... food had a great flavor besides gator bites not my favorite I have had them much better at other places other than that I had a great time my favorite was the Drinks and bartenders“

“Flint classic, I got a coupon for the chicken Philly cheese. I was like hey you know what I'll try it. It's really good I got extra cheese. I always would just get the same thing when I go there which would be a big John steak and onion. I actually like the Italian sub too. I hadn't had a chicken until today and it's very good.“
