“Service and ambiance were first class. Caesar salad prepared table side and Parmesan Mushroom Risotto were exceptional. Both Steaks was very salty and a little tough for a ribeye prepared medium. One steak was sent back because it was closer to well done after sitting on the hot plate. Will try again in the future and ask for light seasoning and for them to leave my steak unsliced to avoid it over cooking the interior on the hot plate its served on.“

“We had not been to the Caucus Club in 40 years. We will not wait that long to return. An exceptional dinner. The room is elegant and very comfortable. The tables are nicely spaced so you are never too close to your fellow diners. Antonio was our waiter and the service was excellent - half empty glasses immediately refilled and dirty dishes quickly removed. Antonio prepared a table side Caesar salad that was both light and delicious. I had scallops and my wife had chicken Scallopini. The scallops were perfectly cooked and my wife said it was the best chicken she remembers eating. For desert my wife had a chocolate torte that was otherworldly. Just a fantastic dinner. Unbeknownst to us, a jazz trio plays on Saturday evenings - a piano, stand up bass and drum. They were excellent and the music truly elevated the experience. We stayed an extra 20 minutes just listening to the trio. All the way home we talked about how wonderful our evening had been. Great food, fantastic service, elegant room, soulful jazz and a warm, comfortable ambience = exceptional evening. My new favorite restaurant.“

“on point. Odd area but who cares. Service, Food, Ambiance etc. Such a great place. Don't forget your Booze as they don't serve any alcohol. My family and folks ordered just about everything off the very large menu! Lobster Quesadilla was a standout. Get the homemade soup!“

“This was definitely a treat for the family. Services was fantastic and they had plenty of staff making the rounds to ensure guests had what they needed. Not too intrusive though. If you like steak, you want to put Prime & Proper on your bucket list.“

“Ms.Billie Jean is a wonderful nice lady who I recommend. When you come to capers please ask for her I tell u she will make sure u are serve well n make sure u r satisfied. She deserves a big raise. “This was my second time dining at Prism, and both visits were exceptional! Daniela, along with the rest of the friendly staff took great care of us. Paired with the elegant ambience and delicious food, our Easter dinner was a special experience. I ordered the berry fusion cocktail, which was fruity and refreshing! We started with the arancini, which I highly recommend. The sweetness from the butternut squash sauce was a delightful surprise and paired perfectly with sage! Oh, and of course you can’t go wrong with their amazing, warm bread to start- we went through 2 baskets, it’s that good!I ordered the lobster pappardelle which had a lucious cream sauce that was full of flavor and there were large chunks of fresh lobster. Our table also ordered a ribeye, and New York strip; both were juicy and tender, and the zip sauce that they came with was melt-in-your-mouth… phenomenal. I highly recommend this wonderful spot to celebrate any special occasion!“

“Service is always over and above. The appetizers are always great. The menu could and a few additional items. A baked potato which is usually a steak house regular. The filet I recently had was totally tasteless, no seasoning not even pepper. It's a little dark when you first enter but you get used it! Wish they were open 7 nights a week!!“

“Amazing happy hour 4-530 Monday- Thurs. $ 7 cocktails and 4 oz filet $28. The best part of going to London Chop House? The amazing staff. Dorian is their doorman for 10 years, such an amazing soul. The staff inside are welcoming, knowledgeable, true professionals. You never have to worry about poor or indifferent service here. Here are a few bonuses: Frank Sinatra ate there. Ask where his booth was. There is a wonderful cigar bar on the third floor with a billatds table. Best restaurant in downtown Detroit, no questions!Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian and my husband is not. When we go during happy hour, I get a baked potato and he gets filet mignon. We go to alot of steakhouses and typically get a potato. I can't recall what I ate at the times we had dinner there, but I went away satisfied.“
