“This is a small, but cool vibe old-time neighborhood bar. Came here with a group to see the Brother Crowe band who are an amazing and gritty, bluegrass-leaning Celtic Roots powerhouse band. You grab your own drinks from the friendly and efficient bartenders, the menu had some great choices and everything came out hot and delicious. The band rocked out and everyone there was really getting into their high energy music, singing along and dancing. I hope I get a chance to come back again!“

“Been there two times now. Perfect neighborhood bar for folks in Brush Park. Food was very good and service was excellent. My wife and I are “Summer birds” . We reside in Arizona and reside in Brush Park when weather is good so it’s a perfect neighborhood place for a nightcap.“

Very basic and that’s what makes it great. Old school photos and just a small black & white tv playing old video tapes.
No draft beers. Just a few selections and some custom drinks to choose from. The best deal is the beer & shot for $7.

“We had drinks here today and my vodka and cranberry only cost $4.50ea (as of 09/26/23) which is the cheapest I’ve found in a while! And the bartender who is also the owners daughter is super sweet! We had a great time! This is definitely a place we’d visit again! There is no food besides some chips!“

“There's a thing about eastern market. It's alive during the day during market hours and then, it gets quiet. Pocket change was exactly what we were looking for to keep the vibes going! Just on the outskirts of downtown in eastern market. This little high end dive bar keeps dancing. Weekend DJ's and one of the only rooftop bars in the area. The incredible ambiance on the second floor feels like a hidden oasis of what seems to be the biggest spin and twirl of eastern market. I went with a few friends to celebrate a birthday to only feel like we were dancing the night away with the locals of the community. Great cocktails, incredible bar staff.. just ask for a spagett, and you'll feel like one of the locals!

They throw pop ups with surrounding vendors and if you need a late night snack the down stairs has some inedible tasty bites.“

“Visited Bar Rotunda for lunch and was incredibly happy with the experience. The bartender provided excellent, attentive service from start to finish. “I love the happy hour here! I'm usually ordering their sweet and spicy chicken wings, yaki soba, maybe a sushi dog or hot dog, and a pitcher or two of Asahi lager and maybe some Sake High! This is a bar, but with small plates, so an Izakaya, not high-end. The atmosphere is appropriate: dim lighting, modern Japanese decor, and a 90s-00s era hip hop soundtrack. A lot of people come in for a drink or two before going downstairs to Hiroki-San, and maybe one day I'll do the same, but I'm not in a rush.“

Tried Cannons for the first time during their opening weekend. We loved the cozy pub decor and penny top bar, dining options (oysters + prosecco? Say less), and most importantly: the rooftop patio. It was the perfect day to enjoy a cocktail outside.

The only downside of our visit: the music on the first floor was slow, quiet dentist office like instrumentals which definitely detracted from the overall feel of the place. I could hear everyone else’s conversations and it added an almost somber element to an otherwise lovely space. Hoping for something more convivial on our next visit!“

I was there two nights, and could not believe the number of gurls there, men also (not enough or too shy to my taste, but that is another story).
