“I recently returned to the Hook & Ladder after a long absence, and I was not disappointed. Our large group of friends decided to meet here for dinner and drinks before going to see a live play further up Seminole Street at the Kordazone Theatre. I made some new friends and invited them to join our group. The staff didn’t mind at all when I added two more tables to our grouping to accommodate everyone. My order of pulled pork sliders and fries was delicious and very filling. The coleslaw on the side of my plate was creamy, which was an interesting twist on the usual coleslaw that you get at restaurants. Beers are priced reasonably.“

The only thing is that I'm a vegetarian so there's not many food options for me but that definitely doesn't change my opinion in anyway!“

“disappointing birthday celebration. our most recent trip was a disappointment. our service was slow which isn't usually a big deal for us, but we were there for 2 hours and left without our birthday dessert in order for us to get to our show afterward. 2 hours should have been plenty of time for meals plus birthday dessert, and it usually is, but this time they fell short of expectations. hopefully they do better next time.“
