“I was with a group of senior citizens from the Saint Clair Shores Senior Activity Center and we lunched at this location. I just have to give a shout out to Andre and Mike for the excellent service they rendered. There were 24 of us and you treated us very well. The food was good, but the service was outstanding. “Everything was good. It was our first time there.. I don’t appreciate the fact that they write in the tip without telling you .I had to go back because I double tipped and nobody said anything . They let me do it without saying a word.. they should tell you that they’re adding the tip in before you pay the bill. I didn’t realize what I did until I got to my car. I had to go back and straighten it out at the restaurant. I have four kids under the age of five. It wasn’t easy for me to do this. When you’re at the table with four kids and you’re trying to pay the bill, you don’t have time to look at it to see that the tip was added in. I gave the Service five stars because I think it was good Service. I just don’t like the idea of that she knew that all this was going on ,and didn’t remind me they had already put the 20% in .“

“Been there two times now. Perfect neighborhood bar for folks in Brush Park. Food was very good and service was excellent. My wife and I are “Summer birds” . We reside in Arizona and reside in Brush Park when weather is good so it’s a perfect neighborhood place for a nightcap.“

Exactly as its reputation suggests - a local, family run pub with cheap drinks, friendly service and tons of character & history. Apparently they have some homemade (literally) food 1 or 2 days a week that sounded like a great bargain. During my visit a local came in with some fresh pies and I was offered a slice.
