The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. “My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

What made the experience even better was that the worker suggested the substitution in a non-pushy, helpful manner which aided the problem-solving portion of my ordering. They were out of beef, but definitely gonna pop on here and there. “This place is amazing! They have these icecream stackers for $8 for a regular cup and $10 for a large. The regular is a massive cup. It is filled to the brim! I asked for cookie dough instead of pretzels and they were so nice about it. They also let you customize. My friend got a small cup of the waffle chips too. They overloaded my cup. The icecream is super delicious. The chocolate chip lava cookie looks amazing too. They do sell coffees and cakes. The tables were cute and clean as well. I would love to come back again!“

“Checked out Eastern Market Brewing Company tonight, and I get why people talk about this place. It’s right in the heart of Eastern Market and has a great lineup of beers — enough options for everyone, whether you’re into IPAs or just want something easy to drink .

I grabbed a flight so I could pretend I’m a beer expert. I’m not, but the dark beer was smoother than I expected and the lager was the kind of crisp you want after a long week. The space itself feels laid back — good seating, and you can still catch whatever game is on without feeling like you’re in a packed sports bar.

Service was friendly, crowd was chill, and it’s the kind of spot where you could make this your go-to without even trying. Detroit beer, no pressure, good energy.

I’ll definitely be back — and I’m officially adding breweries to the list of places I “review” now.“
