“GB’s is my #1 spot for vegan options. They also offer gluten free dough—and they’ve done a fabulous job recreating it people like me who have issues consuming gluten. The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. The food is amazing--the chicken sandwich is the best you'll ever have in your lifetime. Don't leave without trying the tea. What a presentation! “I didnt know anything about Soul Food, but have come here several times now. Very tasty meals and good kind service. The neighborhood is beautiful and it is easy to find by driving up Jefferson toward Pewabic Pottery, turn onto Van Dyke and just park right along Agnes. The neighborhood has one of those pretty names, too, tho sadly I have forgotten. But the food is the big deal, and the folksy service. I even got dessert as well. It is really worth the trip!“

We also ordered the Vegan Stuffed Pepper, but we will have to try it tomorrow for lunch...too full from the Detroit Stuffed Pepper! We also tried the lentil bean soup, very nice. And my wife enjoyed the Mango Tastic smoothie:-) We're happy to learn about the Detroit Pepper Company, and we'll be back. Highly recommended. The staff was incredibly accommodating and gracious. This is not often a feeling I receive when bringing up food allergies. The food & drinks were so incredibly tasty and the views were unreal. The Train station, spires of St Anne’s and the Ambassador Bridge all in one shot. Turn to the left and you have the beautifully landscaped Roosevelt park to stroll through after enjoying the back porch. I’m so blown away, and so happy my friend finally got me here! “The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

This was actually my second time, I’ve been before for a friends birthday and we had a different menu…..the pomegranate ribs were mouthwatering delicious.
