“Wandered in here on a random Friday night. Tapped beer was crisp, fresh and cold. Managed to get a really great burger with fries before the grill closed, and had more fries and cheese sticks before close. For bar food it was really good. 4 stars

The bartender Lex was funny and attentive to her customers without being obnoxious - her service and timing were fantastic. Seemed to have a good rapport with other patrons/regulars. 5 stars

The bar itself is a good size and there's a few tables but there isn't much room otherwise. They did have karaoke after 9 which was fun, but there's not really room to dance to music. The parking lot itself is small and the area is dark but there seemed to be parking out front in the street that was well lit. 3 stars.

If you're looking to talk to people, grab a seat, have some drinks and grab a bite this is good. If you're looking to dance or need a lot of space this might not be it. Recommended to be aware of your surroundings heading to the parking lot after dark.“

“The best restaurant I've been to in Midtown Detroit. A must visit if you are in Detroit. Not your traditional Mexican restaurant. Upscale with some very eclectic dishes that are absolutely delicious. Words can't describe it, you must go and experience my hometown.

“Yo! Mootz is a really good spot for Detroit-style pizza! We walked by and saw a lot of smiling faces, so dropped in, and I’m glad we did! I had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza, as well as a slice of cheese pizza. After the first bite, I quickly understood why there were so many smiling faces in there! What’s cool about this place is that they have a takeout side where you can walk up, get your pizza, and go hang out in one of the neatest alleys in Detroit!“

“Food was good and service was acceptable (nothing special) but you had a group of 5 guys leave your restaurant last night somewhat bewildered after your waitress Katarina made it quite clear she was not happy with the 20% tip we gave her. Apparently, our stay of about 3 hours eating and drinking was excessive. We may not be back.“

Exactly as its reputation suggests - a local, family run pub with cheap drinks, friendly service and tons of character & history. Apparently they have some homemade (literally) food 1 or 2 days a week that sounded like a great bargain. During my visit a local came in with some fresh pies and I was offered a slice. “A group of us made the quick walk over to Townhouse from the convention center. We were given the option to sit right away or wait a few minutes for a table to be cleared in the atrium. So glad we chose to wait. The atrium is beautiful! Our server, Diego, was fantastic and all his recommendations were hits at the table! He also was diligent about checking with the kitchen to ensure those in our parties with allergies/sensitivities were good with their food choices.“

“Been there two times now. Perfect neighborhood bar for folks in Brush Park. Food was very good and service was excellent. My wife and I are “Summer birds” . We reside in Arizona and reside in Brush Park when weather is good so it’s a perfect neighborhood place for a nightcap.“
