BARDA Reviews
Excellent service, delicious food and it all happened under the red lighting. Be prepared to park on the street as the parking lot only has 6 or 7 parking spot.
Fabulous food. Great service.
Here’s the thing, the only reason this review isn’t a 5 is because of the food. The drinks, atmosphere, and staff was incredible. The food on the other hand was just okay. I’d come here for maybe one appetizer and hope it’s good, and then just enjoy some drinks and the atmosphere.

BARDA offers excellent food with exceptional service, making it a great place for a meal with friends or family. The menu features a variety of dishes, especially meat options like chorizo Argentino and chicken in mustard sauce, which are full of flavor. The food is fresh and tasty, with vegetarian dishes such as roasted cauliflower and charred carrots. Visitors have praised the steak, including Bife, as well as fish, short rib, black rice with scallops, and Peruvian potatoes, describing the food as outstanding and delicious. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by the outside bonfire, while the interior is clean and pleasant despite a plain exterior. Service is generally fantastic, and there is a good selection of drinks. The chorizo appetizer and the chocolate baked Alaska are highly recommended, along with the El Cuco drink, which is a must-try. While the prices are a bit high, the quality and overall experience make it worth visiting. Special occasions are well celebrated, with friendly service and dishes like fresh oysters and a generous salad. Overall, BARDA is a top spot to enjoy delicious dishes in Detroit.
