“went there on a Monday. not busy at all whatsoever. there was only a bartender and a cook that seemed to be doing everything. the bar had majority of the people there so my group and I moved from our table to the bar and then we got our order taken. not a bad place at all just need to hire more people if they want to run a full restaurant, need to figure it out. The food was absolutely delicious it was fresh and perfectly cooked to order. Only complaint would be how long it took for our order to be taken but again there was only one guy in there doing everything!“

“Made Friday night reservations 2 weeks ahead for a table (you can sit at the bar too with reservations). Free parking literally right in front was a huge win for a busy evening. We were on time and waited just a few minutes, which actually worked out because the open kitchen smells and those flames totally pulled us in. Super warm, cozy vibe and the space looks just as good inside as it does from the outside. Once we sat down in the cozy chair/table setup, we kicked things off with drinks and ordered apps and mains all at once. Everything came out fast and hot. The mussels, beef tartare, and tuna tartare were all flavorful, and just really well done. The only letdown was the Pollo that looked great but really needed more seasoning (& onions lol) to match the rest of the menu. Service was friendly & fantastic. Overall, it was an awesome family night out and a spot we’d happily come back to. 5/5.“

“My cousin wed their beautiful bride last night and their original post wedding brunch location fell through at the last minute. Groups of us came through right as Supergeil opened. From the moment I walked in, Diego made us feel welcome. He clearly knows the beer, cider, and wine selection inside‐out. I asked a few questions about what’s available, and he guided me through options with enthusiasm and patience, and never making me feel rushed.

Exactly as its reputation suggests - a local, family run pub with cheap drinks, friendly service and tons of character & history. Apparently they have some homemade (literally) food 1 or 2 days a week that sounded like a great bargain. During my visit a local came in with some fresh pies and I was offered a slice. A must visit for sure.“

“Absolutely 100% recommend Nemo’s! We’re here for tigers opening day and I am breastpumping. I asked if they had a room I could pump, although they didn’t have a secluded area for me, they let me pump in this back area. Thankfully I had a wearable pump so you can’t see anything but one of the bartenders brought me a water & a hotdog and was just the sweetest man. Truly thankful for their hospitality! So very sweet! “This is a small, but cool vibe old-time neighborhood bar. Came here with a group to see the Brother Crowe band who are an amazing and gritty, bluegrass-leaning Celtic Roots powerhouse band. You grab your own drinks from the friendly and efficient bartenders, the menu had some great choices and everything came out hot and delicious. The band rocked out and everyone there was really getting into their high energy music, singing along and dancing. I hope I get a chance to come back again!“

I stopped by for cocktails and really enjoyed the experience. The drinks were well-crafted, and the menu also has Spanish-inspired small plates that are great for sharing. The outdoor seating area is perfect if you want to enjoy the view and the city vibe.

Overall, Kamper's Rooftop Bar is a great spot for a night out, whether you're meeting friends or going on a date. The views, drinks, and atmosphere make it one of the best rooftop bars in Detroit.“

“Been there two times now. Perfect neighborhood bar for folks in Brush Park. Food was very good and service was excellent. My wife and I are “Summer birds” . We reside in Arizona and reside in Brush Park when weather is good so it’s a perfect neighborhood place for a nightcap.“

“There's a thing about eastern market. It's alive during the day during market hours and then, it gets quiet. Pocket change was exactly what we were looking for to keep the vibes going! Just on the outskirts of downtown in eastern market. This little high end dive bar keeps dancing. Weekend DJ's and one of the only rooftop bars in the area. The incredible ambiance on the second floor feels like a hidden oasis of what seems to be the biggest spin and twirl of eastern market. I went with a few friends to celebrate a birthday to only feel like we were dancing the night away with the locals of the community. Great cocktails, incredible bar staff.. just ask for a spagett, and you'll feel like one of the locals!

They throw pop ups with surrounding vendors and if you need a late night snack the down stairs has some inedible tasty bites.“

“I frequently visit bar rotunda on weekends for the sole purpose of seeing the jazz band. The band is amazing, and having live jazz music inside that upscale classy bar keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is high class and candle lit, and I've yet to find another place like it. I don't know the name of the band, but I know the bassist is named Trevor Lamb, and watching him pluck the stand up bass on a Friday or Saturday night while sipping on a cocktail is a quintessential weekend tradition for me. I cannot emphasize enough this band's talent and contribution to the atmosphere.

Unfortunately this review may not be able to stay so positive. I've caught wind that management wants to cut the jazz band down to just two days a month and install a DJ instead. I know for a fact that if there isn't live acoustic jazz to fit the atmosphere of bar Rotunda, I will not be seen there again on a date night and I will have to drop the rating of this review.“
