“Everything was good. It was our first time there.. I don’t appreciate the fact that they write in the tip without telling you .I had to go back because I double tipped and nobody said anything . They let me do it without saying a word.. they should tell you that they’re adding the tip in before you pay the bill. I didn’t realize what I did until I got to my car. I had to go back and straighten it out at the restaurant. I have four kids under the age of five. It wasn’t easy for me to do this. When you’re at the table with four kids and you’re trying to pay the bill, you don’t have time to look at it to see that the tip was added in. I gave the Service five stars because I think it was good Service. I just don’t like the idea of that she knew that all this was going on ,and didn’t remind me they had already put the 20% in .“

“Everybody there was so nice. They all treated us with respect and the pizza was amazing. I heard that it was the locals favorite place and the tourists and they were definitely right. If I didn’t live eight hours away that I would definitely be going back.“

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! “Went here yesterday for the Sharks vs Red Wings game. Amazing staff all around. Everyone was so kind. Very well laid out arena and clean and spacious. Great sound, view, and an amazing experience. Delicious. Pros: Good Price. 8.99+tax 10in(I think) pizza up to 5 toppings. Extra toppings are extra $ Fresh Dough You can see them make your pizza (which gave me a sense of relief especially during covid) Brick Oven cooked! Sooo clean! They also have b.y.o (build your own) salad! Cons: Its only 1 size... some may see this as a downfall, but for 1 person the size they sell is perfect. If it's more than just you, you simply can just get additional pizzas! A friend of mine told me he hates chain pizza, after tasting Flamz, I totally see what he means! Although, website confusingly lists coupons that I was told are not available at all locations despite the website listing this location, contacting this location specifically, etc. Very confused by this, but regardless the staff honored the coupon after being pretty adamant it wasn’t offered. Whoever manages the website needs to clean this up or don’t have coupons and a website at all. Not fair to put your employees in awkward positions where they have to disagree with the customer. Glad it worked out, but would’ve definitely ruined my likelihood to order pizza from this business again had it not. Atmosphere I’ll just say the inside is a pickup area and there’s no parks/outdoor areas close by if you were walking to pickup.“

Perfect amount of burger cheese, pickles and condiments. I ate one last night and was overwhelmed with its flavor. “Used to really enjoy the ambiance of the Greektown location and its proximity to all the things nearby, all the restaurants, shops and casino, but it was closed in 2020 due to Covid. I now use their E Jefferson location in Rivertown, which is much smaller and more for carryout. Same quality pizzas though. As to the pizzas, while you can get thin crust and round, the real star is their phenomenal deep dish Chicago style to die for! I think it's so good, it outdoes any Chicago pizza joint, including my favorite, Lou Malnatti's, which is saying alot. Of their signature pizzas, I most like their V.I.P., Three Cheese w Spinach {including optional mushrooms) and their Meats pizza. An advantage of PP"s deep dish seems to be their mixing the ingredients rather than layering them ala the Chicago custom. I find the toppings nearly all in each bite. With Chicago layering, you can get a mouthful, say, of sausage over the other ingredients. I have not noticed such layering in the PP version.. The toppings are fairly sized, not scrawny. No cutting corners. Cost is $20-40, S-L. Their sauce, the soul of any pizza, is excellent, not too sweet. They got it perfect. This is the Rolls Royce of Chicago style pizzas.“

I am a teacher and was looking for a local pizza place...and one of my students recommended this pizza place. What an amazing choice! We found a great deal online for a large pizza. Since I was ordering as a reward for a few students I asked them to double cut the slices and they easily accommodated my special request. The cheese was so good, the sauce was tasty and the kids gobbled up the pepperoni ?

“The food is everything that you would expect from Papa John's. No better, no worse. So this prepared adequately and served in regulation time.

Service is fine. The men there make ordering simple and the ability to answer customer questions depends on if management is there or not.
