I was my first time visiting Detroit so I am not sure about the authenticity with Detroit style pizza but it ended up being very good and I look forward to the next time that I can enjoy it. “If you’re in Detroit and craving pizza, definitely check out Mootz Pizzeria. The pizza was delicious, the crust was perfect, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The staff was friendly, the place had a great vibe, and everything came out fresh. Easily one of the best pizza spots I’ve tried in Detroit. I’ll definitely be back!“

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

“GB’s is my #1 spot for vegan options. They also offer gluten free dough—and they’ve done a fabulous job recreating it people like me who have issues consuming gluten. The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “The pizza was so good my boyfriend and I came here twice during our week stay in detroit. The edges are crisped to perfection! And you can tell all the ingredients used are fresh. Highly recommend the Packard pepperoni, perfect amount of spicy and sweet. The pizzas are large enough to share and you have the option to do half and half. The only con is there isn’t a ton of seating so you might end up waiting for a table but it's well worth the wait.“

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“Wow. Amazing pizza.

I asked if they could add whole garlic cloves, and they were happy to accommodate, which I really appreciated. My only wish is that they were roasted until they became soft, sweet, and almost spreadable—like a beautiful garlic paste. That’s the flavor I was hoping for. If they ever dial that in, I genuinely think it could put this pizza on the map.

The dough… wow. The undercarriage was exactly how I like it—crispy, sturdy, and perfectly baked. You can tell the foundation for an incredible pizza is already here.

Now imagine this mushroom burrata pizza finished with roasted garlic cloves and just a light drizzle of truffle oil. That would take it from great to unforgettable.
