“Drove 3 hours to try Fredi's and let me tell you, we will do it again. Very much worth the hype.

My husband follows Dave Portnoy who claims Fredi has the best pizza in Detroit so of course we had to validate this! We ordered The Don, Fredo, and Santino - no complaints. The Fredo was my favorite though.

“Yo! Mootz is a really good spot for Detroit-style pizza! We walked by and saw a lot of smiling faces, so dropped in, and I’m glad we did! I had a slice of the buffalo chicken pizza, as well as a slice of cheese pizza. After the first bite, I quickly understood why there were so many smiling faces in there! What’s cool about this place is that they have a takeout side where you can walk up, get your pizza, and go hang out in one of the neatest alleys in Detroit!“

“My husband and I saw a review of Sicily's, and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! We got the deep dish, and an order of meatballs, for take-out. It was an hour drive to get home. I had a bite of it while it was cold, and it was super good! I put the rest of the piece in the air fryer, and it was amazing. The sauce is fresh tasting, and the crust was crispy on the bottom, and chewy in the middle. The cheese on the edge was slightly brown, and crisp, just the way I like it. This was absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had, and I've had a lot in my almost 65 years! Meatballs? Another best ever! Tender and so much flavor, with a good amount of marinara, so that every last meatball has as much as you could want. It was DEFINITELY worth the trip, and well worth the money! I would be in so much trouble if I lived closer, but I would do it again in a heartbeat! And to top it off, the Chef/Manager was SO nice and friendly! We had a very nice chat with him about the sourdough, and the restaurant, and how much he loves what he does. And you can tell! I highly recommend trying this place, they are about 1 block off of the freeway, and easy to get to.“

“GB’s is my #1 spot for vegan options. They also offer gluten free dough—and they’ve done a fabulous job recreating it people like me who have issues consuming gluten. The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. The variety of pizza options are many to choose from. And the staff are really personable & quick with service & a smile. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Buddy's Who? What they lack in overall restaurant space. They make it up with EXCELLENT engaging customer service. Fresh ingredients and great food. I've been three times they've hit the mall each time. When you stay open until you sell out, you've got a winner. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures from anticipation. We had the waffle fries, roasted carrots with goat cheese, hot wings and two different pizzas.I don't eat pork, so having a beef pepperoni option was clutch! Everything was delicious, the roasted carrots were a present surprise. Our servers were extra attentive and helpful.“

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“We ate here for the first time had the Fungchi and the San Gennaro fabulous best pizza we have ever had. Very light crust which brought out the true flavors that were on top of the pizza. Highly recommend if you are in Detroit and want great pizza.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! “Haven't been in a while since I moved out the neighborhood. But food was always great, service above reproach, prices were reasonable and great menu selections. Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.“

“I had previously left a review but after completing my order I had to take my review back. When I picked my order up I knew that I had made a mistake by ordering 2 pizzas and breadsticks. The weight of those items were insane, I knew they were going to be good!! Once I got home and actually saw the pizzas, they were so full of toppings and a crazy amount of cheese. “I can’t praise my experience here enough!!! I went to the Alex Warren concert last night (07/05/26) and had the absolute best time! However my night didn’t start great. I had won these tickets from a radio station, and was SO excited. I really wanted to go, but money has been tight so I couldn’t just buy them myself. I won two upper level tickets.(section 223, row 9) I was already a little anxious because I’m a heavy set person, I take up a lot of space, I typically try to buy tickets on the aisle so strangers aren’t forced to deal with my presence. Since I won these tickets, I had no control over being placed directly in the middle of the row. So I was already self conscious about my space. On top of that, I’ve never sat upper bowl at LCA. It is not for the feint of heart! I didn’t know I was afraid of heights until this occasion. I was sliding into a panic attack quickly. My friend and I decided I needed to go down to the concourse and take a breather. Security saw my panic attack and checked on me immediately, he was so kind and even gave us directions to guest services to see if they could help. We then talked to Katy. Katy I hope someone sees this, you were amazing! You made me feel so seen and valid, immediately jumped into fix it mode on how to make sure I could feel comfortable enough to enjoy the concert, and provided a distraction to help me calm down! She then pointed us to her supervisor, whose name I never got, I’m so sorry! He was an absolute gem! Immediately calmed me and got me and my friend moved to open seats where it was much more comfortable and spacious! We had the best time at this concert! I cannot thank the security guard, Katy, and the supervisor enough!!“

“This was a 5 stay review until I tried their bbq. They cook it on indoor grills and they scortched all the meat. The chicken was dry and burnt, the ribs were charred and burnt. Fried items are phenomenal. Fish, chicken, onion rings, clams, frog legs all amazing.“
