“So a couple things, I've never seen a crew work so hard since I've been eating here and it's great. A couple people stood out a woman with glasses was so respectful and responsive when taking my order over the phone. As I walked in I was greated with a smile and a gentleman with blue hair, excellent customer service, and really knew how to speak. He helped my wife before with a messed up order and was the same way so I knew it was genuine.Made me feel great about being a customer, and have also informed family and friends about the gesture. He made sure I didn't leave without anything, even brought my food out for me. Very underrated store that I will continue coming to. Thank you Hungry Howies ☺️“

The environment is laid back, easy & chill. And the view is spectacular on Michigan Ave. Grabbing a seat at the bar—no problem! You’ll be dazzled by the large selection of craft cocktails—that’s a view in it self! It tends to get crowded quick, so calling ahead or beating the crown is suggested but it’s sooo worth it. “The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“Couple weeks ago was my first time eating there. Wow was it amazing. I was stuffing myself. It tasted so good.
Came back today pretty much got the same thing. Chicken parm both times.Today the chicken wasn’t right. The top half of the chicken breast was grizzly the bottom half wasn’t grizzly, but it was hard to cut.
Third time is the charm, we will see !!!“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a party venue, or just a dinner out to come eat here!! 5 stars!!!!!!“

The customer service was also exceptional. The gentleman who helped us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and provided amazing hospitality. He made us feel comfortable and truly cared about our experience. It’s not every day you come across someone who puts so much kindness and warmth into their work.

Owners and staff were always friendly and appreciative. I could go for a full slab rib dinner or smothered pork chop dinner. With collard greens, Mac n cheese, cornbread and a large kool-aid mixed.“

Equally terrific was the 'Mediterranean' Salad with Very Tasty Lemon Oregano dressing! SO nice to find a 'different' dressing and this Lemon Oregano was TRULY special. The breakfast pizza is everything, crispy bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, and sausage gravy on a pillowy light but crispy crust. 2 slices are perfect to fuel a long morning and they’re so damn satisfying.
