“The pizza was so good my boyfriend and I came here twice during our week stay in detroit. The edges are crisped to perfection! And you can tell all the ingredients used are fresh. Highly recommend the Packard pepperoni, perfect amount of spicy and sweet. The pizzas are large enough to share and you have the option to do half and half. The only con is there isn’t a ton of seating so you might end up waiting for a table but it's well worth the wait.“

“Tried for the 1st time last night. The pizzas and cheese bread tasted great. The only negative thing I have to say is that the crust is hard, but nothing was burnt. Tried the normal crust, GF crust, and the cheese bread. All 3 had hard crust.“

“The girl at the register is very nice and pleasant on the phone. The pizza was fantastic but the menu online needs to be updated. Every pizza on the list increased 35-45% in price which equates to $6-7 extra per pizza. The large cheese pizza is $19 not $13 the pepperoni is $22 not $15.“

“We had a rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Sheilds in Detroit and it was the best experience ever! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was great and the staff were so awesome!!! When we got there everything was set up for us and they were very welcoming. The manager Jason was great, and had everything running smoothly. The wait staff…shout out to L & D we’re phenomenal! They were right there with refills, smiles, jokes and anything you needed. They made the experience so wonderful!!! “Had the deep dish square supreme. It was excellent. Great friendly service as well. I like a salad with my pizza & that's not on their menu. It seems they rely on Schotts for the salads. Schotts needs to step it up & offer some good salads like an antipasto & Greek. Ended up grabbing a bagged salad from the produce section. One of the best Detroit style pizzas around. Give them a try.“

“Great place to eat.I hope you try it. The lunch special is under ten dollars for a sub sandwich with salad and a drink. Free refills on the drink. I had a chipotle chicken sub , which was excellent. The owner is very nice. The restaurant is spotless. I will go back soon and try a pizza.“

We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was amazing! My wife loved it!! Delicious, cook on the pizza was perfect, chicken was amazing, and the bacon and ranch were perfect. The cheese bread was outstanding!! Perfect cook and the right amount of cheese and the ranch dipping sauce was delicious and is much better then jets ranch. Lastly we got a large pepperoni pizza and it was perfectly cooked, delicious and the sauce and cheese and pepperoni and the crust was amazing. My son Charlie is not normally a crust eater but with this pizza he loves the crust and ate it all. This was without the flavored crust. Tells you just how amazing the dough they use is. He said he gives it 2 👍👍 We will be back very soon to try more food/pizza“

“First time here. Tried the Chicago style. Heavy! The sauce and cheese are very good. Sauce is very robust & tomatoey and the cheese blend is more flavorful than most places. The inside is small, typical of a pizza joint. Couple of chairs and tables adequate while you wait.“

“We held a small bridal shower today at the Troy location. We, as organizers live several hours from Troy so had to make arrangements over the phone and sigh unseen. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and welcoming appearance. Rick was wonderful in assisting in every way possible, table set up, reducing the music in the back room, refreshing beverages and more. The food was excellent. And the prices very reasonable. We will definitely hold future events here as they occur.“

“This place is goated! I love placing my orders online or through the phone to ensure that what I get is fresh and ready when I arrive, which is always timely! I love their round, deep dish, breadsticks and their rolls. My dad loved getting the subs from here. Always fast and friendly service, and still pretty fresh even when you don’t order ahead and just get what they got sitting out. I love this place, and it’s got pretty good hours when you compare it to what else is around.“
