Caucus Club Detroit Reviews
(July 2026). First off, a big thank you to our server Jah'Qwan. He was just fantastic and really made our anniversary dinner extremely enjoyable. This was our first time dining at the Cactus Club. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best for an intimate dining experience - quaint, quiet, and a soft piano player. Very very nice. The lighting was perfect (we sometimes have a hard time seeing the menu since we are getting older :).

Five star plus! Who needs Ruth Criss when you can go to the Caucus Club in Detroit?! Never had a meal as good as the one I had there. My first Waygu Ribeye did not disappoint! Antonio, our server was fantastic and so attentive. We even met the owner and chef and he was also so welcoming. The food was very delicious. I hate I didn't have room left for dessert. Will definitely go back to Caucus Club the next time I'm in Detroit.

The Caucus Club Detroit offers a fine dining experience in the heart of the city. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including the praised Chicago-style ribeye, scallops, and lamb chops. While some items like the Alaskan King Crab may be hit or miss, the restaurant's elegance and excellent service, including valet parking and attentive waiters, make it a great choice for a special occasion. Vegetarian options are also available and delicious.
Customers praise the food and service as "absolutely amazing," with one reviewer noting the "exceptionally good" food, including the French onion soup, lamb chops, and fries. The portions are generous, and the service by the staff, including "barman" Chris, is consistently friendly and efficient. Diners feel "honored" to dine at this historical steakhouse, where the staff ensures every occasion, such as a birthday, is made special. The restaurant is known for its best dry aged steaks and foie gras accompaniment, which a customer travels from Cleveland just to enjoy. Customers also appreciate the outstanding service, including the curbside and valet service, and the exceptional meals, such as the H-8 scallops and the porterhouse steak grilled to perfection.
