“They must be under new management based on all I've read cus I loved the catfish, the chicken wings. My baby loved the fries. Coleslaw and corn bread were ok. Maybe cus I've had them sweeter. This was not as sweet but probably better for you. The tangy BBQ sauce is perfect and u used that for fries. Mashed potatoes are ok. Overall, I've only ordered and had it delivered but can't wait to e a t here in person. Loved what I ate“
“Friday night visit. What we liked: * immediate seating. * Quick check in once seated and attentive service. * fried mushroom app was tasty. *The wings were how we like them- crisp. Would definitely get wings again. *Baked beans were good- little meat in them and nice flavor. *Candied apple drink was enjoyed. What could if been better- * While the mushrooms were good, they weren't hot. *Having had the smokehouse drink before, I was really looking forward to it. “I tried the pulled pork sandwich with the pineapple habanero sauce, and it was really good. The pork was smokey and the sauce had a lot of pineapple flavor. The chips and guacamole were good too. I don't know if they make their own tortilla chips but either way they're crunchy and flavorful, similar to house-made chips.“

“Decent BBQ. It’s hard to find good consistent BBQ in Flint. Many are hit and miss. Some days you’ll go to one of the BBQ spots the BBQ Is good, then the next day it’s bad. Famous Dave's is good 85% to 90% of the time. I’ve dined in, had take-out and delivery. There’s been a few occasions where I had to let them know, I was not pleased with my Ribs and they always fixed the problem without hesitation, I like that about them, but majority of the time when I get their Ribs and sides it’s all good. I usually order a 1/2 or full slab of St Louis style ribs, baked beans with corn muffin and coleslaw. Haven’t tried very many of their other dishes.“

“First I would like to thank Terry for his Great Customer Service with my 90 year old Mom over the phone. Now that's the first 5* Now the food. First my Mom's opinion since she doesn't know how to work the internet. She couldn't complain about Nothing. And she's the type that complains about every thing. That's the second 5* I was going to take a picture of everything but Mom had start eating it before I came down stairs. Now regarding my opinion of the food. This is the 3rd 5*. The breakdown as follow: Bone in real catfish 5* Baked beans with ground beef. I thought I was in the south. 5* Sweet potatoes or yam 5* Green beans w/diced potatoes 5* Rib 5* WOW and they have a fish market. You just can't go wrong at Wood's Fish & Ribs.
